“80后”小說家研究

【摘要】: 每一代人都在追逐著自己的文學夢想,而每一代人的文學夢想又因其新異的特質(zhì)而閃爍著獨特的光芒;仡櫺聲r期文學創(chuàng)作,在艱難的跋涉中,中國文學終于突破了慣性寫作的維度而實現(xiàn)了向自覺寫作的轉(zhuǎn)換。從先鋒小說對形式的執(zhí)著,到新寫實小說向現(xiàn)實的回歸,再到新生代小說對個人話語的建立,每一次的探索都賦予了中國文學新的生命力。20世紀末以來,在眾聲喧嘩的時代語境中,一批年輕的“80后”作家張揚著他們新鮮而凜冽的青春叱咤登場,以他們?yōu)橹黧w構(gòu)筑的“80后”文學在社會上引起了強烈反響,為中國文壇平添了一道獨特的風景。而“80后”小說創(chuàng)作作為“80后”文學的生力軍,更是彰顯出一種新穎銳利的文學氣質(zhì),以其不菲的創(chuàng)作實績和鮮明的個性特征為新世紀的中國文學注入了一股清新而濃郁的青春氣息。本文即以“80后”小說家為研究對象,在文本細讀的基礎上,對“80后”小說創(chuàng)作作出整體的觀照。 “80后”一代人是生活在改革開放旗幟下的特殊的一代,社會轉(zhuǎn)型期的歷史文化語境賦予了他們獨特的成長背景。在全新的時空狀態(tài)下,他們在價值觀、生活方式、行為準則等方面都與以往社會有著巨大差異。社會物質(zhì)的極大豐富、程序化的教育體制、大眾文化的影響在他們身上留下了深深的烙印。在這樣的背景下成長起來的“80后”小說家自然形成了他們不同于以往的文化品格。他們追求個性,表現(xiàn)出更加張揚和率性的寫作姿態(tài);在他們眼中,文學不再是高高在上的圣壇;而城市化的進程、大眾文化的興盛也使這批年輕的作家表現(xiàn)出明顯的都市化傾向和與市場的某種親和。 “80后”小說家本身存在強烈的個性差異,他們的作品也呈現(xiàn)出多樣化的創(chuàng)作樣態(tài),但是,共同的時代文化語境給予了他們相似的文化品格。透過“80后”小說文本,我們?nèi)匀豢梢栽诩姺卑唏g的表象背后發(fā)現(xiàn)其共通的思想和精神趨向。“80后”小說家大都在二十歲前后“出道”,這使他們的寫作與青春期的個人體驗和經(jīng)驗緊密相關(guān)。他們的小說作品體現(xiàn)出了較為明顯的叛逆意識,渴望逃離禁錮,追尋屬于自己的自由;成長中的孤獨體驗也在其作品中得到了淋漓盡致的抒寫,氤氳成孤寂而憂傷的情緒氛圍。同時,耽于幻想是他們這一代人共同的精神特質(zhì),也構(gòu)成了“80后”小說中比較明顯的想象特征。 綜觀“80后”小說文本,在彰顯叛逆、孤獨和幻想等精神趨向的同時,其敘事風格和語言特征也呈現(xiàn)出鮮明的傾向性。從敘事上看,其小說作品表現(xiàn)出濃郁的“個人化”風格,不約而同地從自我經(jīng)歷出發(fā),極致地抒寫自我的成長,多以“內(nèi)聚焦”的敘事視角講述“自己”的故事,渲染真實而凜冽的青春體驗;同時,他們的作品也體現(xiàn)出一種對現(xiàn)實生活尤其是對都市物質(zhì)生活的熱忱和流連,從而構(gòu)成了其個人化敘事風格的又一表征。在語言上,“80后”小說家似乎從一登場就萌發(fā)了某種自覺,追求新奇的審美效果,其語言表現(xiàn)出明顯的“陌生化”傾向,而在大眾文化的暈染中,影視、動漫的深刻影響使他們的小說語言帶有極強的流動性和圖像感,打上了一層“影像化”的光暈。 “80后”小說真率而誠摯地抒寫青春的疼痛和溫暖、張揚幻想的綺麗和吊詭,為新世紀文學注入了一些新鮮的活力。但是,我們必須看到,在“新鮮”的背后,“80后”小說創(chuàng)作也有著十分明顯的局限,不知不覺地陷入了一種尷尬的困境!80后”小說表現(xiàn)出明顯的自我復制傾向,執(zhí)著于反復地挖掘自己僅有的生命體驗和個人經(jīng)驗,不厭其煩地將之訴諸筆端,進行著疲憊的自我復制,導致了其創(chuàng)作格局的狹隘和小氣,顯得局促而又后勁不足;他們的想象力呈現(xiàn)出某種“先天不足”,并有著極端化的畸形發(fā)展傾向;同時人文精神的缺失也是“80后”小說創(chuàng)作面臨的一大困境。
