There are several possible reasons accountable for this phenomenon(中心句). To begin with, family in growing numbers has only one child; therefore, parents oftentimes focus all their attentions on that child and exert much pressure on him or her(原因一). Moreover, numerous parents intend to realize their unfulfilled dreams by letting their children learn what they failed to learn and apply for the college by which they failed to be accepted, because they have become richer and they believe that they have the power to make what they wanted and want come true now(原因二). For instance, my uncle used to be a poor man and his dream that one day he would become a violinist was broken because of lack of money. But he made a fortune by selling coals, and then forced his son, my younger brother to practice playing violin. My brother was a huge fan of sports, but now he has to play violin everyday unwillingly and ofter quarrels with their parents(舉例：原來(lái)-然后-結(jié)局).

To sum up, it is unreasonable for parents to control their children’s life(總結(jié)句). In order to help them grow happily and healthily, parents are supposed to communicate with their kids about what they are really interested in(建議一，目的句型). Meanwhile, it is about time that parents let their kids make their own choices(建議二，，“是時(shí)候”句型). Only in these ways will children grow in a psychologically happy environment and realize their own dreams

the Most Impressive Campus Activity

Every university offers numerous kinds of activities to enrich students’ extracurricular life. As one of the young college students, I have benefited a lot from all of these well-organized activities, but the one impressing me most is the debate competition which I took part in last year.

In my memory, there are so many unforgettable men who have rendered me assistance。Among them, the most impressive one is Lucy, my roommate.

Suppose a foreign friend of yours is coming to visit your hometown, what is the most interesting place you would like to take him/her to see and why?

To begin with, the Great Wall symbolizes China ancient history. The Wall built from the 5th century BC until the beginning of the 17th century, experiencing our country's various dynasties.

What's more, it embodies our primary principle: teamwork is everything. Obviously, it was rather difficult to build such a wall in the ancient days without any modern machines, because all the work had to be done only by hand. But millions of China people came together and made it a reality.Finally, the Great Wall expresses our determination to resist invasion. The Wall was originally a project of Qin dynasty designed to keep out the invaders. Although millions of people died for building the Wall, China people defended our own sovereignty.

As one of the most bewitching and international cities in China, I strongly recommend you, my dearest friends, to pay a visit to my hometown-Beijing. It is the capital of China for several dynasties over a long period. In the meantime, it has now evolved into the political, cultural and educational center. There are many places of interests here in Beijing, among which the Summer Palace is the most interesting attraction.

The Summer Palace is situated in the western outskirts of Beijing, and it is one of the most classical gardens in China, which enjoys a worldwide reputation. The most alluring scenery is Kunming Lake, with an exquisite building in the middle, and it involves three parts which are mainly used as the ancient empress’s living quarter.

I’m sure you can definitely experience the characteristic and traditional culture of China. Hope you could enjoy your trip!

It is frequently observed that many people keep looking down at their mobile phones whatever they are doing. It is true that mobile phones have brought great convenience to us as we can send short messages, check e-mails, surf the Internet, or watch videos almost anywhere. However, the overuse of mobile phones also leads to some serious problems.

The over-dependence on mobile phones can harm the relationship among

friends and family. With mobile phones, people do not talk as much as before. For example, sometimes at dinner tables, instead of chatting and laughing with each other, many people choose to chat with other friends online. In other words, mobile phones help people contacting friends far away more easily at the expense of reducing the communication with those who are sitting right next to them.

In conclusion, mobile phone can be a useful tool in modern life, but overusing it damages interpersonal relationship. There is no point to lose our intimacy with friends and family to modern technology. The Overusing of Cell Phones

This picture portrays such an ironic situation: on the road, stands a man, who is completely concentrating on his cell phone whereas using a stick for direction, which implies the unprecedented popularity or even overusing of cell phones nowadays.

Exaggerated as the picture is , the phenomenon behind it is rather

thought-procking. With the development of high-tech equipment, especially smart phones, people in growing numbers tend to become addicted to the excessive use of them. According to a survey carried out in China Daily several days ago, almost 47% of citizens explain that they would experience certain kind of anxiety without cellphones at hand. Meanwhile, the overusing of

cellphones, firstly, would exert detrimental impact on the health of us. What’s worse, it would perform a negative character in interpersonal relationship since we have less time to communicate.

Judging from the evidence above, certain measures should be taken. Firstly, certain institutions in China should launch relevant campaigns to limit the excessive ust of cellphones. Moreover, we ,as college students, should put emphasis on it right from ourselves as a start.
