【摘要】：在信息超載的二十一世紀,隨著文摘數(shù)據(jù)庫的出現(xiàn),有的科研人員和讀者傾向閱讀論文的摘要部分,甚至許多學者認為摘要獨立于論文的正文部分。因此,優(yōu)質的科技論文摘要翻譯在引進國外學術成果、加強國內(nèi)外學術交流的過程中具有重要作用。 作者受中南大學圖書館有色金屬文摘編輯部委托將一些冶金材料領域的著名國際學術期刊上的英文摘要翻譯成漢語。本文在作者個人翻譯實踐的基礎上,采用報告形式,以紐馬克的語義翻譯和交際翻譯為指導,對翻譯任務和任務過程進行了描述,分析了翻譯中的問題,并研究了英譯漢摘要翻譯過程中運用的翻譯技巧,以便譯文能準確傳達原文的真實信息,使譯文簡潔明了,易被讀者理解接受,且遵守中文摘要規(guī)范。 報告共分為四個章節(jié)。第一章介紹了翻譯任務的背景及客戶要求,并從詞匯、句法和語篇層面分析了科技論文英語摘要的特征。第二章從譯前準備、翻譯過程、譯后工作三方面描述了整個翻譯實踐過程。譯前仔細研讀原文,確定了翻譯工具和翻譯理論,即紐馬克的語義翻譯和交際翻譯。翻譯過程基本按翻譯時間安排進行,并合理地控制譯文質量。對譯文反復審查后,交于導師和專業(yè)人員重新審稿,最后收到客戶的意見反饋。第三章是報告的核心。在語義翻譯和交際翻譯的啟發(fā)下,總結了指導科技論文摘要翻譯的三個原則：準確性,可接受性和規(guī)范性。然后以語義翻譯和交際翻譯以及三個原則為指導,分析歸類了科技論文摘要翻譯實踐中的問題,并從詞匯、句法層面提出具體的翻譯技巧。最后一章總結了翻譯實踐的體會、對專業(yè)譯者的要求以及實踐收獲。 本報告通過案例分析證明了語義翻譯和交際翻譯對科技論文英譯中的解釋力和適用性,同時也使作者充分認識到雙語能力和專業(yè)知識是科技論文摘要翻譯的保證。
