【摘要】：在信息超載的二十一世紀(jì),隨著文摘數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)的出現(xiàn),有的科研人員和讀者傾向閱讀論文的摘要部分,甚至許多學(xué)者認(rèn)為摘要獨(dú)立于論文的正文部分。因此,優(yōu)質(zhì)的科技論文摘要翻譯在引進(jìn)國(guó)外學(xué)術(shù)成果、加強(qiáng)國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)交流的過(guò)程中具有重要作用。 作者受中南大學(xué)圖書館有色金屬文摘編輯部委托將一些冶金材料領(lǐng)域的著名國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)期刊上的英文摘要翻譯成漢語(yǔ)。本文在作者個(gè)人翻譯實(shí)踐的基礎(chǔ)上,采用報(bào)告形式,以紐馬克的語(yǔ)義翻譯和交際翻譯為指導(dǎo),對(duì)翻譯任務(wù)和任務(wù)過(guò)程進(jìn)行了描述,分析了翻譯中的問(wèn)題,并研究了英譯漢摘要翻譯過(guò)程中運(yùn)用的翻譯技巧,以便譯文能準(zhǔn)確傳達(dá)原文的真實(shí)信息,使譯文簡(jiǎn)潔明了,易被讀者理解接受,且遵守中文摘要規(guī)范。 報(bào)告共分為四個(gè)章節(jié)。第一章介紹了翻譯任務(wù)的背景及客戶要求,并從詞匯、句法和語(yǔ)篇層面分析了科技論文英語(yǔ)摘要的特征。第二章從譯前準(zhǔn)備、翻譯過(guò)程、譯后工作三方面描述了整個(gè)翻譯實(shí)踐過(guò)程。譯前仔細(xì)研讀原文,確定了翻譯工具和翻譯理論,即紐馬克的語(yǔ)義翻譯和交際翻譯。翻譯過(guò)程基本按翻譯時(shí)間安排進(jìn)行,并合理地控制譯文質(zhì)量。對(duì)譯文反復(fù)審查后,交于導(dǎo)師和專業(yè)人員重新審稿,最后收到客戶的意見(jiàn)反饋。第三章是報(bào)告的核心。在語(yǔ)義翻譯和交際翻譯的啟發(fā)下,總結(jié)了指導(dǎo)科技論文摘要翻譯的三個(gè)原則：準(zhǔn)確性,可接受性和規(guī)范性。然后以語(yǔ)義翻譯和交際翻譯以及三個(gè)原則為指導(dǎo),分析歸類了科技論文摘要翻譯實(shí)踐中的問(wèn)題,并從詞匯、句法層面提出具體的翻譯技巧。最后一章總結(jié)了翻譯實(shí)踐的體會(huì)、對(duì)專業(yè)譯者的要求以及實(shí)踐收獲。 本報(bào)告通過(guò)案例分析證明了語(yǔ)義翻譯和交際翻譯對(duì)科技論文英譯中的解釋力和適用性,同時(shí)也使作者充分認(rèn)識(shí)到雙語(yǔ)能力和專業(yè)知識(shí)是科技論文摘要翻譯的保證。
