英漢學(xué)術(shù)論文摘要的對(duì)比體裁分析

【摘要】:論文摘要,,尤其是英語摘要,不僅是眾多出版刊物對(duì)論文形式的要求,同時(shí)也是獲取信息的一種重要手段。然而,由于疏于對(duì)摘要本身進(jìn)行體裁分析和跨語言對(duì)比分析,一些中國學(xué)者對(duì)摘要這種特殊的學(xué)術(shù)論文體裁的結(jié)構(gòu)及其特殊功能知之甚少,在寫作時(shí)只是一味模仿。為提高論文摘要的寫作水平,本文將隨機(jī)選取英漢教育類學(xué)術(shù)論文摘要各30篇建立英漢摘要對(duì)比語料庫,并對(duì)其進(jìn)行宏觀語步和微觀語言特征上的對(duì)比分析,以期形成對(duì)中英文學(xué)術(shù)論文摘要的異同的全面了解。結(jié)果顯示,信息性摘要和指示性摘要在英文中的出現(xiàn)頻率相當(dāng),而漢語以指示性摘要為主。微觀上,漢英摘要都傾向于運(yùn)用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí),主動(dòng)語態(tài)和模糊限制語,差別不大。但漢語很少運(yùn)用一般過去式和被動(dòng)語態(tài)。盡管漢英所屬語言和文化體系不同,但它們?cè)谀:拗普Z的運(yùn)用上卻大同小異,這與之前發(fā)現(xiàn)的中國的英語學(xué)習(xí)者在英語寫作中很少運(yùn)用模糊限制語相左。文章認(rèn)為,宏觀和微觀相結(jié)合的分析模式能夠更好地揭示學(xué)術(shù)論文的體裁特征。作者期望更多基于更大語料庫基礎(chǔ)上的跨文化對(duì)比體裁分析,以為摘要翻譯和國內(nèi)學(xué)術(shù)論文寫作實(shí)踐和教學(xué)提供一定的指導(dǎo)和幫助,加快國內(nèi)外學(xué)術(shù)交流的接軌化進(jìn)程。
[Abstract]:Abstract of papers, especially English abstracts, is not only the requirement of many publications for the form of papers, but also an important means of obtaining information. Due to the lack of genre analysis and cross-linguistic contrastive analysis of abstracts, some Chinese scholars know little about the structure and special functions of abstracts. In order to improve the writing level of abstracts, this paper will randomly select 30 abstracts of English and Chinese educational academic papers to establish a comparative corpus of English and Chinese abstracts. The author also makes a comparative analysis of the macro and micro linguistic features in order to form a comprehensive understanding of the similarities and differences of the abstracts of Chinese and English academic papers. Informative abstracts and indicative abstracts appear equally in English, while Chinese are dominated by indicative abstracts. Microscopically, both Chinese and English abstracts tend to use the general present tense, active voice and vague hedges. Although Chinese and English belong to different languages and cultural systems, the use of hedges is much the same. This is contrary to the previous findings that Chinese EFL learners rarely use hedges in English writing. The combination of macro and micro analysis model can better reveal the genre characteristics of academic papers. The author expects more cross-cultural contrastive genre analysis based on larger corpus. It provides some guidance and help for translation and writing practice and teaching of domestic academic papers, and speeds up the process of academic communication at home and abroad.
