高職院校專業(yè)課對學生技能的培養(yǎng)具有天然的重要性，很容易受到重視，在專業(yè)課程的改革方面往往成果比較多。但是，作為基礎課的思政課往往不像專業(yè)課那么受重視。這樣一來，思政課的改革往往落后于專業(yè)課的改革。思政課是一門塑造人的靈魂的課程，對大學生的世界觀、人生觀和價值觀的正確形成具有不可替代的作用。新形勢下要提高思政課在育人中的作用與效果，，就必須積極探索并構建適應工學結合人才培養(yǎng)模式的思政課程新體系。本文將從實踐教學這個角度來進行嘗試性探索。

1.工學結合模式的由來
工學結合教育模式歷史悠久，最早可以追溯到英國桑得蘭德技術學院工程系和土木建筑系于1903年開始實施的“三明治”教育模式(Sandwich Education)。英國出現三明治教育模式以后的第3年，美國俄亥俄州辛辛那提大學開始實施與英國基本相同的工學結合教育模式，稱之為“合作教育”(Cooperative Education)。1983年世界合作教育協(xié)會(World Association for Cooperative Education)在美國成立，協(xié)會成員來自40多個國家，每年召開一次國際性會議，影響越來越大。目前，發(fā)達國家工學結合教育模式發(fā)展的重點是跨國安排學生工作實踐，以達到教育國際化的目的。2000年協(xié)會理事會經討論決定，將合作教育改為“與工作相結合的學習” (Work—integrated Learning)，以進一步從名稱上凸顯工學結合的基本特征，便于理解。工學結合教育模式能持續(xù)100年經久不衰，主要歸功于它切合實際的理念，以職業(yè)為導向，以提高學生就業(yè)競爭能力為目的，以市場需求為運作平臺。
