1. Introduction:
The two organizations that have been selected for this report are the American based Federal Express (FedEx hereinafter), and the UK based Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC hereinafter). FedEx is recognized as the second largest player in the express delivery and logistics management services worldwide and presently has global presence either directly or through its partner organizations (FedEx, 2012). On the other hand, HSBC which is London based financial organization that extends commercial banking, investment banking as well as corporate banking in different parts of the world (HSBC, 2011). The firm is recognized as the market leader in the UK and one of the biggest financial service companies at a global level (About HSBC, 2012). This paper will critically evaluate business and marketing strategies used by these two companies and will elaborate that how these two organizations have accomplished their present market standings and what are the market potentials that these two companies could capture in the near future.
