[Abstract]:In 2009, China's gross domestic product (GDP) was initially estimated at thirty three trillion five hundred and thirty five billion three hundred million yuan, an increase of 8.7 percent over the previous year in comparable prices, and the growth rate dropped 0.9 percent from the previous year. On a quarter-by-quarter basis, it grew 6.2 percent in the first quarter, 7.9 percent in the second quarter, and 9.1 percent in the third quarter.
