美國(guó)公共圖書館暑期閱讀項(xiàng)目研究

【摘要】:目前,我國(guó)公共圖書館的閱讀推廣活動(dòng)蓬勃開(kāi)展,學(xué)習(xí)并借鑒美國(guó)公共圖書館成熟的暑期閱讀項(xiàng)目經(jīng)驗(yàn)有助于我國(guó)閱讀推廣活動(dòng)的開(kāi)展。美國(guó)公共圖書館的暑期閱讀項(xiàng)目形成于19世紀(jì)90年代后期,發(fā)展至今已有一百多年的歷史。暑期閱讀項(xiàng)目作為美國(guó)圖書館界的一項(xiàng)重要的閱讀推廣項(xiàng)目,發(fā)展至今積累了豐富的理論與實(shí)踐經(jīng)驗(yàn),在各國(guó)圖書館界全民閱讀活動(dòng)中起到了積極的示范作用。暑期閱讀項(xiàng)目的萌芽、產(chǎn)生與發(fā)展與美國(guó)的社會(huì)背景相融合,不僅受到教育實(shí)踐的推動(dòng)也受到理論研究的牽引,健全的組織保障同樣促進(jìn)了暑期閱讀項(xiàng)目的成熟。暑期閱讀項(xiàng)目的發(fā)展經(jīng)歷了萌芽起源、成形發(fā)展、成熟興盛三個(gè)階段,美國(guó)國(guó)家閱讀政策的頒布、圖書館法律法規(guī)的制定、專業(yè)性行業(yè)協(xié)會(huì)的支持、廣泛的社會(huì)合作、暑期閱讀相關(guān)研究的推進(jìn)都為暑期閱讀項(xiàng)目的開(kāi)展提供了傾力支持,是保證項(xiàng)目持續(xù)發(fā)展的推動(dòng)因素。文章對(duì)項(xiàng)目的歷史發(fā)展和實(shí)踐情況進(jìn)行分析,總結(jié)美國(guó)公共圖書館在暑期閱讀項(xiàng)目組織方式、年度主題制定、閱讀材料、項(xiàng)目活動(dòng)設(shè)置等方面都為我國(guó)公共圖書館的閱讀推廣活動(dòng)提供參考借鑒。暑期閱讀項(xiàng)目已經(jīng)成為一項(xiàng)普遍服務(wù),海外的優(yōu)秀經(jīng)驗(yàn)例如關(guān)注特殊群體、關(guān)注暑期閱讀活動(dòng)的效果、聯(lián)合多方外部機(jī)構(gòu)等等能夠?yàn)槲覈?guó)公共圖書館如何更好地開(kāi)展暑期服務(wù)提供思路。
[Abstract]:At present, the reading and extension activities of public libraries in our country are flourishing. Learning from and drawing lessons from the mature summer reading programs of American public libraries is helpful to the development of reading extension activities in our country. The summer reading program of American public libraries was formed in the late 1890s and has a history of more than 100 years. As an important reading extension program in American libraries, the summer reading program has accumulated rich theoretical and practical experience, and has played an active role in the national reading activities of libraries in various countries. The emergence and development of summer reading programs are combined with the social background of the United States. They are not only promoted by educational practice but also led by theoretical research. The sound organizational guarantee also promotes the maturity of summer reading programs. The development of summer reading program has experienced three stages: the origin of germination, the forming development, the mature prosperity, the promulgation of American national reading policy, the formulation of library laws and regulations, the support of professional trade associations, and extensive social cooperation. The promotion of summer reading research provides full support for the development of summer reading projects and is the driving factor to ensure the sustainable development of summer reading projects. This paper analyzes the historical development and practice of the program, summarizes the organization of the summer reading program in the United States public libraries, the formulation of the annual theme, and the reading materials. The establishment of project activities provides reference for the reading and extension activities of public libraries in China. Summer reading programs have become a universal service, with excellent overseas experiences such as focusing on special groups and the effectiveness of summer reading activities. The combination of various external institutions and so on can provide ideas for how to better carry out summer service in Chinese public libraries.
