《無聲告白》的成長(zhǎng)主題研究

本文以當(dāng)代華裔美國(guó)作家伍綺詩的《無聲告白》(2014)為研究對(duì)象,探討華裔女孩莉迪亞的特殊成長(zhǎng)過程。作為中美混血女孩,莉迪亞文化身份和性別身份的認(rèn)同和建構(gòu)是其成長(zhǎng)過程中關(guān)注的焦點(diǎn)。本文試圖從以下五個(gè)部分來呈現(xiàn):第一章主要介紹了作品,國(guó)內(nèi)外的研究現(xiàn)狀,成長(zhǎng)小說的定義和發(fā)展,經(jīng)典成長(zhǎng)小說與華裔成長(zhǎng)小說的異同以及《無聲告白》與成長(zhǎng)小說之間的關(guān)系。闡明了《無聲告白》具備成長(zhǎng)小說的主要特征,可以被定義為成長(zhǎng)小說,但是其成長(zhǎng)主題又具有獨(dú)特性。第二章從成長(zhǎng)引路人和成長(zhǎng)伙伴的角度來分析小說的成長(zhǎng)主題。成長(zhǎng)引路人包含兩類,積極引路人和消極引路人。莉迪亞的父親詹姆斯和母親瑪麗琳是其成長(zhǎng)過程中消極引路人。積極引路人是莉迪亞的鄰居和校友,杰克。年齡相仿的杰克在莉迪亞絕望的時(shí)候給予其心理安慰和鼓勵(lì)。哥哥內(nèi)斯和妹妹漢娜一直陪伴在莉迪亞的左右,對(duì)于莉迪亞主體身份意識(shí)的覺醒起著重要作用。第三章從女主人公莉迪亞成長(zhǎng)過程中文化身份和性別身份建構(gòu)的角度來分析小說的成長(zhǎng)主題。莉迪亞混血的身份使其一直深陷成長(zhǎng)的困境。莉迪亞對(duì)身份表演進(jìn)行實(shí)踐,在實(shí)踐中思考,認(rèn)識(shí)到族裔身份是流動(dòng)的,并且在生命的關(guān)鍵時(shí)刻找尋到自己的主體身份,意識(shí)到...
