隨著劉慈欣和郝景芳的科幻小說在國際上先后獲得雨果獎,中國的科幻小說也逐漸在國際上進入大眾的視野,但是人們對中國科幻小說英譯的關(guān)注度仍然相對較低。本文是一篇翻譯實踐報告,翻譯的原文選自今何在所著的科幻小說《未來:人類的征途》第一至二章內(nèi)容。本文主要講述了超級計算機的發(fā)明給世界帶來的新變化。為使更多的優(yōu)秀中國科幻作品走向世界,同時希望為日后中國科幻作品英譯研究提供一個參考,譯者做出這次漢譯英的嘗試。根據(jù)這本科幻小說的文本特點以及今何在獨特的寫作特點,譯者在本報告中主要論述了具體的翻譯實例的分析以及所采取的翻譯方法。譯者從所選書中科幻術(shù)語和相關(guān)表達、人物心理活動描寫、比喻和人機對話這四個主要的文本特點來分析所使用的翻譯方法。在翻譯科幻小說的術(shù)語和相關(guān)表達時,采用腳注和既定翻譯,以確保目標(biāo)讀者對譯文的理解。在對人物的心理描寫進行翻譯時,采用合譯與拆譯,使得人物的心理活動描述更加生動,豐富多彩。在翻譯比喻時,使用注釋和改譯來詮釋中英文之間喻體選擇的差異。在翻譯人機對話時,采用了順序翻譯和逆序翻譯來重現(xiàn)作者的科幻思維。通過本次的翻譯實踐,針對于科幻小說的特點以及原文本自身特點,譯者不僅在實踐中總結(jié)...
