切蘭加尼山林地區(qū)（Cherangani Forest Reserve）是肯尼亞的第四高山,植物種類豐富,其森林也是重要的集水區(qū),是肯尼亞五座主要水塔之一。本地區(qū)位于肯尼亞西部,由12個(gè)森林斑塊組成,這些森林斑塊具有豐富的生物多樣性,為周邊民族提供賴以生存的環(huán)境。該地區(qū)具有獨(dú)特的廣闊地形,以及由不同植物物種組成的廣泛生物多樣性,特別是具有大量未受干擾的本土森林。然而,歷年來該地區(qū)的植物多樣性卻鮮有關(guān)注,其物種名錄,特別是藥用植物的調(diào)查還嚴(yán)重不足。本研究基于在2015年7月至2019年1月之間,由肯尼亞國(guó)家博物館和中國(guó)科學(xué)院中-非聯(lián)合研究中心（SAJOREC）的植物學(xué)家組成的科考小組在切蘭加尼山林地區(qū)進(jìn)行的多次植物調(diào)查結(jié)果。植物考察基于無樣地的步行調(diào)查進(jìn)行,采集植物標(biāo)本,并詳細(xì)記錄植物生活型、棲息地等信息。民族植物學(xué)數(shù)據(jù)通過使用半結(jié)構(gòu)化問卷調(diào)查,記錄了科、學(xué)名、地方名稱、憑證標(biāo)本、習(xí)性、棲息地、使用部位、制備方法和一般用途等信息,并結(jié)合期刊和書籍中相關(guān)信息進(jìn)行整理分析。作者通過對(duì)該地區(qū)多次深入的野外調(diào)查和標(biāo)本館標(biāo)本的查閱,獲得了該地區(qū)維管束植物的物種名錄。總共記錄了1296種,包括17種特...
