西漢“宗室不宜典三河”的歷史解讀——以宗室群體政治境遇的變遷為線索

【摘要】:西漢末年,劉歆被任命為河內(nèi)太守,遭到儒林的強(qiáng)烈反對,理由是"宗室不宜典三河"。這個(gè)理由并非漢家舊制,而是政論中的一個(gè)主張。不過,在西漢前期封建制度的實(shí)施過程中,三河地區(qū)因地位特殊,實(shí)際上從未封予宗室,此慣例在制度上也由漢武帝加以明確。西漢晚期,皇權(quán)繼承身份的正當(dāng)性屢受質(zhì)疑,與此相應(yīng),對宗室的防范細(xì)則愈發(fā)繁瑣。這種政治氛圍對步入仕途的宗室成員極為不利。為對抗外戚、宦官,宗室與儒林曾有結(jié)盟互助的經(jīng)歷,然而,隨著劉歆積極配合漢哀帝的意識形態(tài)建構(gòu),儒林的既得利益格局被觸動,"宗室不宜典三河"的論調(diào)便應(yīng)運(yùn)而生。
[Abstract]:At the end of the Western Han Dynasty, Liu Xin was appointed as Hanoi Taishou, which was strongly opposed by Joulin, on the grounds that "the clan is not suitable for the three rivers." This reason is not the old Han family system, but a political argument. However, in the implementation of feudal system in the early Western Han Dynasty, because of its special status, the Sanhe region was never sealed to the monarchs, which was also specified by Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. In the late Western Han Dynasty, the legitimacy of the inheritance of imperial power was repeatedly questioned. This political atmosphere is extremely unfavourable to the members of the royal family who have entered their official career. In order to confront the foreign relatives, eunuchs, clans and Julin had the experience of alliance and mutual assistance. However, with Liu Xin actively cooperating with the ideology construction of the Han Emperor, the vested interest pattern of Confucianism was touched, and the argument that "the clan is not suitable for the three rivers" came into being.
