利瑪竇與中國近代科學

【摘要】：西學東漸是中國近代史研究中的重要領(lǐng)域,也是中國近代科學和技術(shù)史研究中不能忽略的重要問題。近代西方科學技術(shù)最初是通過基督教會的傳教士傳入中國的,在中國經(jīng)歷了漫長而曲折的傳播過程。利瑪竇是西學東漸的第一人,第一個在中國成功打開中西文化交流的大門,也是第一個把西方科學和技術(shù)傳入中國的人,開啟了中國近代科學和技術(shù)的歷史。利瑪竇被譽為“主觀上傳教而客觀傳播西方科學技術(shù)文化的最顯著代表”。 目前學術(shù)界關(guān)于西學東漸和利瑪竇的研究文獻汗牛充棟,研究者對利瑪竇的研究主要還是集中在他在對基督教的傳播及其中西文化交流方面的貢獻,從科學技術(shù)史的角度考察和研究利瑪竇對中國近代科學的影響的文獻較少,并且比較零散、還不夠系統(tǒng)。 本文試圖從科學技術(shù)史的角度,通過對原始文獻的閱讀和對大量研究文獻的梳理,厘清學術(shù)界不同認識,進一步系統(tǒng)考察利瑪竇在中國的傳教過程及其采取的策略,客觀評價他對西方近代科學和技術(shù)的傳播以及對中國近代科學的影響。 論文分為四章。第一章是緒論,主要對本文問題的提出和國內(nèi)外相關(guān)文獻資料進行梳理綜述和評價,厘清學術(shù)界不同認識,闡述論文的研究視角、方法、研究目的和意義。第二章從科學技術(shù)史、科學哲學和社會學的視角系統(tǒng)考察利瑪竇在中國的傳教過程,對其進行分期；概括總結(jié)了利瑪竇采取的策略,即分析利瑪竇規(guī)矩的內(nèi)容、特征及其影響。第三章和第四章從數(shù)學、天文學和地理學等方面系統(tǒng)闡述利瑪竇所進行的科學傳播及其對中國近代科學的貢獻和影響。
[Abstract]:The eastward development of western learning is an important field in the study of Chinese modern history, and it is also an important issue that can not be ignored in the study of the history of science and technology in modern China. Modern western science and technology was first introduced into China through the missionaries of the Christian Church, and experienced a long and tortuous process of spreading in China. Matteo Ricci was the first person to spread Western learning to the east, the first to successfully open the door of cultural exchanges between China and the West in China, and the first person to introduce western science and technology into China, opening up the history of modern Chinese science and technology. Matteo Ricci is known as "subjective preaching and objective dissemination of Western science and technology culture the most prominent representative." At present, academic literature on the spread of Western learning to the east and Matteo Ricci is full of research. The researcher's research on Ricci is mainly focused on his contribution to the spread of Christianity and the cultural exchanges between China and the West. From the point of view of the history of science and technology, the literature on the influence of Matteo Ricci on modern Chinese science is few and scattered, so it is not systematic enough. From the perspective of the history of science and technology, this paper attempts to clarify the different understanding of the academic circles by reading the original documents and combing a large number of research documents, and to further systematically investigate the missionary process of Matteo Ricci in China and its strategies. It objectively evaluates his influence on the spread of western modern science and technology as well as on Chinese modern science. The paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, mainly to the question of this paper and the domestic and foreign literature review and evaluation, clarify the different academic understanding, elaborate the research perspective, methods, research purposes and significance. The second chapter systematically studies Ricci's missionary process in China from the perspectives of history of science and technology, philosophy of science and sociology, and summarizes the strategies adopted by Matteo Ricci, that is, analyzing the content, characteristics and influence of the rules of Matteo Ricci. The third and fourth chapters systematically expound Matteo Ricci's contribution and influence to modern Chinese science from the aspects of mathematics, astronomy and geography.
