明清時期賢母形象淺析

【摘要】:母親在家庭中對子女有著生育、養(yǎng)育和教育的責任,這三種責任在女性身上生生不息、代代相衍,從而組成了一個個多樣化的家庭,而母親的這個特性也使得她們在女性所有責任形象中占據(jù)舉足輕重的地位。中國古代文人墨客以傳記、壽序、墓志銘等方式對他們所推崇、敬佩的母親形象進行了頌揚,在小說筆記中也對社會所厭惡、鄙棄的母親形象進行了諷刺。本文以明清時期母親形象為切入點,分析史籍記載中的多樣化母親形象,并闡述母親形象的家族意義和社會意義。正史中母親形象的變化主要呈現(xiàn)出從賢妻良母的角色到踐行貞烈的角色的趨勢。賢母形象較之烈女烈婦有著衰弱的趨勢,原因主要在于國家對女性貞烈行為的贊頌,致使女性沒有機會實踐母親的角色或擔任母親角色的實踐非常短暫,難以被流傳下來;另一方面,代表苦節(jié)的方式集中于女性孝事翁姑與撫育幼孤之上,相比之下,母親的角色被遮蔽,而被納于節(jié)孝之中。母親形象發(fā)生的變化更多地說明國家對于女性教育的導向作用。明清地方志和墓志銘中記錄的賢母形象流傳的更為廣泛,不可否認其中的一些賢母同樣也是節(jié)婦形象。作者對母親形象的記述,體現(xiàn)在母親對家庭內(nèi)務的管理,對家族間人情交往的經(jīng)營,最重要的是母親對于子女的教育。我國古代對于男女之分尤為重視,在男權(quán)至上的社會環(huán)境下,男女教育不可混為一談。同時母親形象也有正面形象和負面形象之分。對負面母親形象形成原因進行分析對女性教育有著重要意義。明清士人記錄母親的事跡主要表現(xiàn)其作為精神和經(jīng)濟方面的"賢內(nèi)助",以及重視傳統(tǒng)社會的"存嗣"問題。男性成員由于外出游歷,或是忙于政事而逐漸疏離家庭,這時身為母親角色的女性成員將承擔起經(jīng)理家庭"內(nèi)政"的職責。而對子女的撫育和教導也體現(xiàn)出母親對家族子嗣問題的重視。母親對子女生活的精心照料、對子女為人處世的基本教導、撫育他子如己子的態(tài)度,都對子女未來的生活產(chǎn)生不可忽視的影響作用。
[Abstract]:The mother has the responsibility of bearing, raising and educating the children in the family. These three kinds of responsibilities are born and passed on from generation to generation in the female body, thus forming a variety of families. This characteristic of mothers also makes them play an important role in the image of women's responsibility. Ancient Chinese literati praised them by means of biography, longevity, epitaph and so on. Admiration of the image of the mother of praise, in the novel notes to the social loathing, disdain of the image of the mother was satirized. This article takes the image of the mother in the Ming and Qing dynasties as the breakthrough point. Analyze the diverse images of mothers in historical records. The change of the image of mother in official history mainly shows the trend from the role of good wife and good mother to the role of practicing virginity. The image of virtuous mother has a tendency of weakening compared with the image of strong woman. . The main reason lies in the praise of female virginity, which makes it difficult for women to carry out the role of mother or the role of mother for a short period of time. On the other hand, the way to represent the bitter festival is focused on female filial piety and the upbringing of young children. In contrast, the role of mother is obscured. The changes in the image of the mother more explain the guiding role of the state for female education. The Ming and Qing dynasties local chronicles and epitaph recorded images of the sages and mothers spread more widely. There is no denying that some of them are also part of the image of women. The author's description of the image of the mother, reflected in the mother's management of the family house, the management of human relations between the family.
