【摘要】：中國(guó)近代白話報(bào)刊是伴隨著中國(guó)近代歷史具體主題的變化而變化的,據(jù)此,中國(guó)近代白話周刊的發(fā)展可以概括為三階段：從開(kāi)創(chuàng)到維新變法時(shí)期,是興起和初步發(fā)展階段；20世紀(jì)初,是快速發(fā)展時(shí)期；第三階段是五四時(shí)期,這時(shí)期白話文取代文言文成為主流文體,大量的白話報(bào)刊不斷涌現(xiàn),配合宣傳新文化。李辛白主編的《新生活》周刊就是在這種背景下產(chǎn)生的。 1919年李辛白在北京大學(xué)創(chuàng)辦了《新生活》周刊,這時(shí)期中國(guó)社會(huì)生活正在發(fā)生巨大變化,所以它的誕生是要提醒人們積極去思考“何以謀個(gè)人的生活?社會(huì)的生活?國(guó)家的生活?”。此雜志一般一周一期,設(shè)有講演、隨感錄、小說(shuō)、白話詩(shī)、科學(xué)常識(shí)、諺語(yǔ)等欄目,以宣傳新文化、新思想、新生活。在這些欄目中,最有特色的是講演欄和隨感錄欄,前者文章篇幅較大,有利于對(duì)某一社會(huì)問(wèn)題進(jìn)行深入的剖析,后者則用簡(jiǎn)短的文字發(fā)表對(duì)時(shí)事的看法,用字雖少,但思想深度高。該報(bào)刊的最大特點(diǎn)是面向平民,所以文字都通俗簡(jiǎn)短易懂,力求從實(shí)際出發(fā),運(yùn)用人民耳熟能詳?shù)亩喾N多樣的形式,編輯成富有生機(jī)的版面,加上價(jià)格便宜,因此深受社會(huì)各界的歡迎,發(fā)行面很廣。 《新生活》周刊在當(dāng)時(shí)引起了不小的反響,具有廣泛的影響,在周刊創(chuàng)辦初期其發(fā)行范圍主要是以北大為中心的北京各大院校,經(jīng)過(guò)一段時(shí)間的傳播,周刊開(kāi)始向南方各省發(fā)行,如四川、廣東、湖北等地。雜志能有這么大的影響力的原因有三：“五四”新文化名人的推動(dòng)、周刊從形式上力求通俗化、周刊價(jià)格便宜。即使雜志有這么廣泛的傳播范圍,它本身也存在著不足之處導(dǎo)致其壽命短,筆者認(rèn)為主要有兩方面,一方面是周刊價(jià)格廉價(jià),價(jià)格便宜有助于廣銷(xiāo)路,但是價(jià)格廉價(jià)加上有的地方經(jīng)常欠報(bào)費(fèi),成本很難回收,根本無(wú)法維持基本運(yùn)作。另一不足之處在于周刊的內(nèi)容,周刊致力于宣傳新思想,新文化,在形式上也力求通俗,把周刊面向平民,但是其內(nèi)容還是無(wú)法真正觸動(dòng)貧苦大眾,真正接受的還是知識(shí)分子。
[Abstract]:Modern Chinese vernacular newspapers and periodicals are changing with the change of specific themes in modern Chinese history. According to this, the development of Chinese modern vernacular weekly can be summarized into three stages: from the beginning to the reform period, it is the rising and preliminary developing stage; At the beginning of the 20th century, it was a period of rapid development; the third stage was the period of the May 4th Movement, in which vernacular Chinese became the mainstream style instead of classical Chinese, and a large number of vernacular newspapers and periodicals emerged continuously to promote new culture. It was against this background that the weekly "New Life", edited by Li Xinbai, was produced. In 1919, Li Xinbai founded the "New Life" Weekly at Peking University, during which great changes were taking place in Chinese social life. So it was born to remind people to think positively, "Why do you want to live a personal life?" Social life? Life in the country? " This magazine is a weekly magazine with lectures, casinos, novels, vernacular poetry, scientific knowledge, proverbs, etc., to promote new culture, new ideas, new life. Among these columns, the most distinctive ones are the lecture column and the casually recorded column. The former has a larger article, which is conducive to in-depth analysis of a certain social problem, while the latter uses short words to express his views on current affairs. But the depth of thought is high. The main feature of this newspaper is that it is open to the common people, so the text is popular, short and easy to understand, and it tries its best to proceed from reality, using a variety of forms that the people are familiar with, and editing them into a lively layout, with a cheap price. As a result, it was well received by all sectors of society and was widely distributed. At that time, the New Life Weekly caused quite a lot of repercussions and had a wide influence. In the early days of the Weekly's establishment, its distribution scope was mainly Beijing universities and colleges with Peking University as the center. After a period of dissemination, the weekly began to be distributed to the southern provinces, such as Sichuan, Guangdong, Hubei, and so on. There are three reasons why magazines can have such great influence: the "May 4th" new culture celebrities, the weekly from the form to strive to be popularized, the weekly price is cheap. Even if the magazine has such a wide range of dissemination, it also has its own shortcomings that lead to its short lifespan. The author thinks that there are two main aspects. On the one hand, the price of weekly magazines is cheap, and cheap prices contribute to a wide range of sales. But cheap prices, coupled with frequent underreporting in some places, make costs difficult to recoup and cannot sustain basic operations. Another deficiency lies in the content of the Weekly, which is devoted to propagating new ideas and cultures, and seeking to be popular in form, facing the common people, but its contents still cannot really touch the poor and the intellectuals are what they really accept.
