【摘要】：對歷史人物研究,應(yīng)當(dāng)從前后左右,多重角度去觀察。而以往史學(xué)界對袁世凱的研究,多采用革命黨方面正統(tǒng)觀念極強(qiáng)的論斷,或取自筆記小說作者道德性褒貶,對袁全盤否定,失之于片面。本文則從北洋集團(tuán)成員的視角出發(fā),全面總結(jié)在他們眼中袁世凱存在什么樣的形象。北洋成員與袁關(guān)系密切,遺留的文獻(xiàn)中又多第一手資料,具有不可替代的史學(xué)價(jià)值。 在北洋成員眼中,袁世凱呈現(xiàn)出錯(cuò)綜復(fù)雜的多重形象,本文暫歸為六種形象：在新舊關(guān)系方面,袁屬于舊派官僚,皇權(quán)思想濃厚,遵循舊式家庭規(guī)范,同時(shí)又在維新方面取得顯著成績；在權(quán)欲方面,袁嗜權(quán),攬權(quán),排斥異己,猜忌部屬,是一個(gè)大權(quán)獨(dú)攬的獨(dú)裁者；袁喜用權(quán)術(shù),精于權(quán)術(shù),手段高明,花樣繁多；在德行方面,袁嗜欲寡淡,勤于政事,是具有若干德行的“賢長官”；在外交上,袁重視外交,富有經(jīng)驗(yàn),維護(hù)國權(quán),對日外交多使用詐術(shù)；袁雄才大略,功業(yè)顯赫,器量寬宏,是北洋成員眼中的救世英雄。 袁世凱的這種歷史形象,一方面是袁本人復(fù)雜而多重的性質(zhì)特征的體現(xiàn),另一方面又與北洋成員的的思想觀念、與袁關(guān)系親疏等若干影響因素有關(guān)。本文通過對北洋成員眼中袁世凱形象的梳理,希望對袁世凱形象重建工作有所裨益。
[Abstract]:The study of historical figures should be viewed from both sides and from many angles. In the study of Yuan Shikai in the past, the theory of revolutionary party orthodoxy was adopted, or it was taken from the writers of note-taking novels to praise and demoralize the morality of Yuan, but it was totally denied to Yuan and lost in one-sided way. From the perspective of Beiyang Group members, this paper summarizes the image of Yuan Shikai in their eyes. The members of Beiyang are closely related to Yuan, and there are many firsthand materials in the literature, which is of irreplaceable historical value. In the eyes of the members of Beiyang, Yuan Shikai presents a complicated and multi-fold image. This paper is divided into six images: in the new and old relations, Yuan belongs to the old bureaucracy, the imperial power thought is strong, and follows the old-style family norms. At the same time, he made remarkable achievements in the reform of power; in the aspect of power desire, Yuan favored power, took power, rejected dissidents, suspected his subordinates, and was a dictator monopolized by great power; Yuan Xi used power, was good at power, and had brilliant means and varied tricks; and in virtue and conduct, Yuan, who has few desires and is diligent in government affairs, is a "virtuous officer" with a number of virtues. In diplomacy, Yuan attaches great importance to diplomacy, is rich in experience, safeguards national power, and uses more trickery in his diplomacy with Japan. It is the salvation hero in the eyes of the members of Beiyang. This historical image of Yuan Shikai is, on the one hand, the embodiment of Yuan's complex and multi-character characteristics, on the other hand, it has something to do with the ideology of the members of Beiyang and the close relationship between Yuan and other influential factors. By combing the image of Yuan Shikai in the eyes of Beiyang members, this paper hopes to help the reconstruction of Yuan Shikai image.
