晚清傳教士的中西文化比較與會(huì)通

【摘要】:宗教改革后的新教傳教士跟隨殖民擴(kuò)張和貿(mào)易輸出的歷史洪流浮槎東來,西方文化的優(yōu)越感促使他們?cè)噲D改造中國文化,為此從天倫觀、人倫觀和物倫觀三方面對(duì)中西文化進(jìn)行了比較,批判了晚清中國信仰混亂、守舊自封、只講義理、不重技藝的弊端。為緩和兩種異質(zhì)文化間的沖突,傳教士通過格義對(duì)耶儒倫理道德觀進(jìn)行比附,并對(duì)中國文化的出路提出了自己的看法,促進(jìn)了耶儒合流下的文化會(huì)通。傳教士的文化改造路線本質(zhì)上是為了教化中國,客觀上推動(dòng)了"中體西用"觀的發(fā)展,醞釀了新文化運(yùn)動(dòng)的萌發(fā),對(duì)近代文化轉(zhuǎn)型的影響可謂淪肌浹髓。
[Abstract]:The Protestant missionaries after the religious reform followed the historical torrent of colonial expansion and export of trade. The superiority of Western culture prompted them to try to transform Chinese culture, so they viewed it from the perspective of heaven and lun. This paper compares Chinese and Western cultures with the views of human relations and material relations, criticizing the malpractice of the late Qing Dynasty, in which the beliefs are confused, the old ones are consecrated, and only the principles of justice are emphasized, and the skills are not emphasized. In order to ease the conflict between the two different cultures, the missionaries compared the ethics and morality of Yeru and Confucianism, and put forward their own views on the way out of Chinese culture. The essence of the cultural transformation of missionaries is to indoctrinate China, objectively promote the development of the concept of "use of the Chinese body and the west", brewing the germination of the new cultural movement, and influence the transformation of modern culture.
