【摘要】：盧斯是美國家喻戶曉的媒介大亨,他曾對美國的對外政策產(chǎn)生重要影響。他同時也是一位出生在中國的美國傳教士后代,童年在中國度過,這促使他日后格外關注中國。其中,他對中國的抗日戰(zhàn)爭給予了相對多的報道,他支持中國抗戰(zhàn)立場的報道對中國抗戰(zhàn)勝利起到了有力的宣傳作用。同時,他對國共兩黨的報道存在明顯的傾向性,因為他從不承認新聞的客觀性,盧斯對待國共兩大黨的態(tài)度成為后人對其評價的重要內容。 本文對盧斯的《時代》周刊有關中國抗戰(zhàn)的報道進行了統(tǒng)計分析,并將他的報道分為三階段,即親蔣反共、對國民黨堅持正面報道,對共產(chǎn)黨較少負面報道和對國民黨弊端的熟視無睹及反共到底。從報道的字里行間滲透著明顯的傾向性,不全面、不平衡。這期間他與白修德在有關中國報道上的分歧成為表明其傾向性的典型事例。這種傾向性的產(chǎn)生與其價值觀、他的“美國世紀”理想以及他反對共產(chǎn)主義的立場密不可分,影響著他對國共兩黨的報道方向。 通過對資料的整理和分析,本文得出結論:抗日戰(zhàn)爭時期盧斯對華報道的傾向性是當今美國甚至是西方媒體提出的所謂“中國威脅論”的歷史雛形;盧斯對華報道傾向性原因的產(chǎn)生顯示了中美文化的巨大差異,如何處理跨文化的交流,這是當今國際傳播需要重點解決的問題。
[Abstract]:Luce is a well-known media mogul in the United States. He has had an important influence on American foreign policy. He is also a descendant of an American missionary born in China, who spent his childhood in China, which prompted him to pay special attention to China in the future. He gave a relatively large number of reports on China's anti-Japanese war, and his support for China's anti-Japanese position played a powerful propaganda role in the victory of China's anti-Japanese war. At the same time, his report on the Kuomintang and the Communist Party had a clear bias. Because he never admitted the objectivity of the news, Luce's attitude towards the KMT and the CPC became an important part of his comments. This paper makes a statistical analysis of Luce's report on China's War of Resistance against Japan in time magazine, and divides his report into three stages, namely, pro-Chiang Kai-shek, anti-Communists, and insists on a positive report on the Kuomintang. Turning a blind eye to the less negative reports of the Communist Party and turning a blind eye to the shortcomings of the Kuomintang and opposing the Communist Party to the end. There is an obvious tendency between the lines of the reports, which is not comprehensive. Imbalance. During this period, his differences with Bai Suode in reporting on China have become a typical example of his propensity. The emergence of this tendency and its values, His "American Century" ideals and his opposition to communism are inseparable, affecting his reporting direction to the Kuomintang and the Communist Party. Through the collation and analysis of the data, this paper draws a conclusion: the tendency of Luce's report on China during the War of Resistance against Japan is the historical embryonic form of the so-called "China threat theory" put forward by the American and even western media; The emergence of Luce's report on China shows the great difference between Chinese and American cultures. How to deal with cross-cultural communication is a problem that needs to be solved in international communication nowadays.
