清代中后期江西商人長途販運的經營方式——《江西商人經營信范》的經營史解讀之二

【摘要】：本文運用《江西商人信范》等新史料,對江西商人經營方式、與牙行的關系、幫會組織、所利用的交通運輸業(yè)等幾個前人研究尚薄弱的問題作了新的探討。由此可見,江西商人帶著夏布、紙張、糧油等產品,利用長江水道,在安徽安慶、蕪湖,江南溧陽、無錫、常州、南潯等城鎮(zhèn)進行販賣,再由上海、太倉等販回棉花等物,至江西吳城等地銷售。他們較多地運用了協(xié)作、合作經營方式。利用本地牙行發(fā)貨,牙行則收取定額的牙用錢;建立了自己的行會組織,對所販賣的夏布抽厘,與牙行及行會之間建立了相對穩(wěn)定的定價機制;還充分利用了長江水系比較便利的交通運輸系統(tǒng)以運送貨物、傳遞信息。
