明末通俗類書與西方早期中國志的書寫

【摘要】：民用類書在明朝末年曾經(jīng)風(fēng)行一時(shí),這種類書分門別類地匯纂衣食住行、婚喪嫁娶、占驗(yàn)堪輿、琴棋書畫等各方面的實(shí)用知識(shí),主要供普通百姓日常參考所用,是認(rèn)識(shí)明代末期民間生活世界的絕佳史料。明末的此類書籍在福建大量出版、發(fā)行,并外銷日本、朝鮮、東南亞各地。明末來華的早期西方傳教士為了了解中國的歷史和文化,購求中國的書籍,在他們所獲得的書籍中,此類民用通俗類書占了很大比例。這些書籍傳入西方,遂成為西方學(xué)術(shù)界了解和想象中國的重要依據(jù)。西方人編寫的第一本全面介紹中國歷史、文化和風(fēng)俗《中華大帝國史》,所依據(jù)的材料就是源于明末民用類書。
[Abstract]:Civilian books were popular in the late Ming Dynasty. These kinds of books are classified into categories, which are used for daily reference by ordinary people, such as the compilation of food, clothing, housing, marriage, marriage and marriage, occupation of practical knowledge in various aspects, such as the examination of qunqi and calligraphy and painting of Qin Qi, and so on, which are mainly for the daily reference of ordinary people. It is an excellent historical material for understanding the world of folk life in the late Ming Dynasty. In the late Ming Dynasty, such books were published, distributed and exported to Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia. In order to understand the history and culture of China, the early Western missionaries who came to China in the late Ming Dynasty purchased Chinese books. The introduction of these books into the West has become an important basis for Western academia to understand and imagine China. The first comprehensive introduction to Chinese history, culture and customs written by westerners is based on materials from civil books in the late Ming Dynasty.
