【摘要】: 本文通過綜合運用史料和出土文獻對唐代長安、西州、沙州等地區(qū)胡漢民眾的佛教信奉進行描述、分析、比較研究,目的旨在揭示三地胡漢民眾在接受佛教、信奉的過程中有什么地區(qū)或民族的差別。民眾的宗教信奉屬于宗教社會史研究的范疇,著眼點是針對某一地域胡漢民眾的佛教信仰展開。其核心是關(guān)注神靈體系、宗教派別以及佛教對民眾生活的影響等幾個方面。 導(dǎo)論部分首先對本選題的意義及預(yù)期目標作了敘述,認為宗教社會史研究將是學(xué)界以后研究的熱點,同時由于專業(yè)要求,選擇了胡漢民眾的佛教信奉作為論文研究方向。其次對該選題的研究現(xiàn)狀作了簡要介紹,發(fā)現(xiàn)對唐代胡漢民眾佛教信奉研究的相關(guān)論文和專著并不多,這也增加了該選題的難度。第三介紹了研究方法,主要是運用歷史學(xué)的研究方法,即通過文獻資料和出土文書進行論述。第四對研究可能出現(xiàn)的問題作了簡要介紹,并對之提出了應(yīng)對方法。 第一章是關(guān)于長安地區(qū)胡漢民眾佛教信奉的研究。首先,第一節(jié)對長安地區(qū)的地理情況和民族構(gòu)成加以概述,第二節(jié)則運用了全唐文、唐代墓志以及唐人筆記小說等文獻資料分別對漢人民眾和胡人民眾的佛教信奉進行了闡述,包括信仰的神祗、信仰的佛教宗派、誦念的佛教經(jīng)典及佛教對民間社會生活的影響;第三節(jié)對胡漢民眾佛教信奉中的異教影響作了闡述分析,以期對民眾的宗教信奉有更深入了解。 第二章與第一章體例相似,所不同點在于運用的資料不同,本章運用了敦煌出土文獻和今人編著的愿文集,從敦煌民眾的祈佛愿文并輔之以寫經(jīng)題記和供養(yǎng)人題記來分析唐代沙州地區(qū)胡漢民眾的佛教信奉,同樣包括沙州民眾所信仰的佛教神祗、信仰的宗派、誦念的經(jīng)典等,并論述了佛教對當?shù)孛癖娚鐣畹挠绊憽?第三章由于涉及唐代高昌地區(qū),地處偏遠,相關(guān)文獻資料不多,因此不能按前兩章的體例去分析西州民眾的佛教信奉,只是概述了當?shù)貪h人和胡人民眾的佛教信奉,并將之以高昌回鶻建國為界分為兩個時期論述。此外還論述了其他宗教對民眾佛教信奉的影響,以期更好地了解唐代西州民眾的宗教信仰。 宗教可以分為制度化宗教和非制度化宗教兩類,對于普通民眾來說,并不在意佛教神祗有多么眾多,經(jīng)典有多么浩瀚,宗派有多么復(fù)雜,他們信仰的出發(fā)點無外乎實用。特定的神祗、經(jīng)典、宗派在胡漢民眾中之所以流行也是因為它們能夠滿足民眾對生活的種種特定訴求和美好期望。由此可見,唐代胡漢民眾的佛教信奉有很強的功利性和實用性色彩,這也說明了佛教由出世走向入世,在教義和教理方面所做的改造是其在唐代廣受民眾崇信的重要原因。 本文通過對三地胡漢民眾佛教信奉的研究,初步證明雖然三地民眾的族性存在著諸多差別,也有地區(qū)、環(huán)境等方面的差異,但在信奉中所體現(xiàn)出來的趨同性則遠遠大于他們的族性差別,換句話說,三地胡人所信奉的佛教與漢人而言,本質(zhì)上有相同性,這似乎說明漢文化的影響所導(dǎo)致的胡人漢化,應(yīng)當是信奉趨同的主要原因。
[Abstract]:In this paper, through the comprehensive use of historical records and unearthed literature of the Tang Dynasty in Changan, West Virginia, a comparative study of desert areas such as Hu and Han people believe in Buddhism, description, analysis, aims to reveal the three Hu and Han people in Buddhism, what is the regional or national difference in the process. The public religion belongs to the study of religion the social history, the focus is on a regional Buddhist belief of the Hu and Han peoples. Its core is the concern of gods system, several aspects of religious sects and Buddhism Influence on people's life.
The first part of the meaning of the topic and the target are discussed, that the social history of religion will be after the academic research focus, at the same time as the professional requirements, the choice of Hu and Han people in the belief of Buddhism as the research direction. Secondly, briefly introduced the research status of the topic, that is not much of the Tang Dynasty Hu Han people related papers and Monographs on Buddhism belief, which also increases the difficulty of the topic. The third introduces the research method, mainly by using research methods of history, through the literature and unearthed documents on the fourth. Possible problems of the study are briefly introduced, and put forward the way to deal with.
The first chapter is about the research on Buddhism believes Hu and Han people in Changan area. Firstly, the first section of the Changan geographical and ethnic composition of the second section, using the full tang, the epitaph of the Tang Dynasty Novels and literature of Han people and the people of all Hu in the belief of Buddhism were introduced, including faith of gods, Buddhist sects, recite Buddhist scriptures and the influence of Buddhism on the life of civil society; the third section presents the analysis of Hu and Han people believe in Buddhism pagan influence to people's religious faith has a more in-depth understanding.
The second chapter with the first chapter style is similar to that of the difference lies in the use of the data, this chapter uses the Dunhuang unearthed documents and modern edited anthology from the Dunhuang people's wish, pray Buddha prayer with Sutra inscriptions and support the inscription to analyze the desert area of the Tang Dynasty Hu and Han people in the belief of Buddhism, including the same. People believe in Buddhism belief in gods, sects, recite classics, and discusses the influence of Buddhism on local people's social life.
The third chapter Gaochang area due to the remoteness of the Tang Dynasty, the relevant literature is not much, so not according to the style of the former two chapters to analyze the state of western people in the belief of Buddhism, is a summary of the local people Hu and Han people in the belief of Buddhism and will, to the Gaochang Uighur community is divided into about two periods. In addition, discusses the influence of religion on the other people believe in Buddhism, in order to better understand the Tang Dynasty West, religious beliefs of the people.
Religion can be divided into religion, institutional religion and non institutionalized two categories, for ordinary people, do not care how many Buddhist gods, the classic how vast, sectarian how complex, their starting point is the practical of the religions. Specific gods, classic, sectarian is popular in the Hu and Han people also because they can meet people of life with all the specific demands and expectations. Thus, Hu Han's Buddhism belief has a strong utilitarian color, it also shows that the Buddhism from birth to WTO, the transformation in the religious doctrine and principles is an important reason for its popular in the Tang Dynasty the people of Chongxin.
