加拿大是個(gè)多民族國(guó)家，又是個(gè)移民國(guó)家，多元文化主義政策使加拿大實(shí)現(xiàn)了各民族之間的和睦相處。多元文化主義認(rèn)為，在加拿大社會(huì)里不同文化背景的人保持各自的文化，互相尊重，和平共處。本文認(rèn)為多元文化主義促進(jìn)民族融合，促成和諧社會(huì)的建立。本文探討了多元文化主義政策在蒙特利爾的實(shí)施，使蒙城各民族和睦相處，并逐步實(shí)現(xiàn)民族融合的過(guò)程。本文認(rèn)為蒙城各民族的融合有兩方面的含義：一是各少數(shù)民族和移民在經(jīng)濟(jì)上逐漸融入蒙城主流社會(huì)，二是在共同的社會(huì)生活中公眾對(duì)不同民族間文化差異的認(rèn)同。因?yàn)榻?jīng)濟(jì)上的融合顯示了主流社會(huì)對(duì)一個(gè)民族的認(rèn)同，而維持和尊重各民族的文化差異則是多元文化主義政策的初衷。本文首先介紹了蒙城歷史上的移民和當(dāng)代移民及其共同發(fā)展逐漸融合的過(guò)程。然后主要介紹了中國(guó)移民在蒙城的發(fā)展及民族融合的過(guò)程。中國(guó)移民在蒙城的經(jīng)歷反映了蒙城各民族融合的全過(guò)程：新移民首先進(jìn)入當(dāng)?shù)氐娜A人社區(qū)，在生活，工作和學(xué)習(xí)中與其他民族發(fā)生千絲萬(wàn)縷的聯(lián)系，在第二代甚至第三代逐漸擺脫中國(guó)的傳統(tǒng)文化，接受當(dāng)?shù)氐闹髁魑幕�，融入蒙城的主流社�?huì)生活。本文探討了多元文化主義政策對(duì)加拿大社會(huì)民族融合的促進(jìn)作用。同時(shí)也指出了多元文化主義政策自身的不足...
