20世紀(jì)50年代美國(guó)勞工話語(yǔ)及形象的海外傳播

【摘要】:勞工話語(yǔ)在美國(guó)冷戰(zhàn)話語(yǔ)體系中占據(jù)著重要地位。馬歇爾計(jì)劃出臺(tái)后,美國(guó)政府逐漸構(gòu)建了一張與國(guó)內(nèi)勞工組織合作的國(guó)際宣傳網(wǎng)絡(luò);至20世紀(jì)50年代末,海外勞工宣傳政策臻至完善。在實(shí)際宣傳中,美國(guó)政府向海外受眾展現(xiàn)了一幅美國(guó)工人過(guò)著"自由""富足"生活的"人民資本家"形象,強(qiáng)調(diào)他們是"美國(guó)夢(mèng)"的踐行者。這種勞工修辭無(wú)視戰(zhàn)后美國(guó)勞資沖突和階級(jí)對(duì)立的現(xiàn)實(shí),因而是一種自我締造的階級(jí)神話,本身存在著重大缺陷。它反映了美國(guó)贏得冷戰(zhàn)勝利與追求海外身份認(rèn)同的雙重企圖。
[Abstract]:Labor discourse occupies an important position in the Cold War discourse system of the United States. After the introduction of the Marshall Plan, the U. S. government gradually built an international propaganda network to work with the domestic labor organization; by the late 1950s, the overseas labor propaganda policy had been perfected. In the actual propaganda, the US government has shown an image of American workers living "free" and "prosperous" to overseas audiences, emphasizing that they are practitioners of the "American Dream". This kind of labor rhetoric ignores the reality of labor conflict and class antagonism in the United States after the war, so it is a self-created class myth and has its own major defects. It reflects the dual attempt of the United States to win the Cold War and pursue overseas identity.
