都鐸時(shí)期英國(guó)的鄉(xiāng)村教育

【摘要】: 都鐸時(shí)期鄉(xiāng)村教育的發(fā)展開啟了英國(guó)鄉(xiāng)村教育的近代化。本文試圖從都鐸時(shí)期英國(guó)鄉(xiāng)村教育發(fā)展的背景、原因、作用等方面來(lái)揭示其對(duì)英國(guó)鄉(xiāng)村社會(huì)近代化的重要影響,從而大體勾勒出轉(zhuǎn)型時(shí)期英國(guó)鄉(xiāng)村教育發(fā)展的整體狀況。 都鐸早期農(nóng)民自身受教育的狀況和宗教思想,以及14、15世紀(jì)英國(guó)社會(huì)大眾文化的興起、印刷業(yè)的發(fā)展、英語(yǔ)的普遍使用、世俗文法學(xué)校的建立等,為都鐸時(shí)期鄉(xiāng)村教育的發(fā)展創(chuàng)造了前提條件。都鐸時(shí)期鄉(xiāng)村經(jīng)濟(jì)由自然經(jīng)濟(jì)向商品經(jīng)濟(jì)的轉(zhuǎn)變,刺激了鄉(xiāng)村教育的發(fā)展,成為鄉(xiāng)村教育發(fā)展的內(nèi)在推動(dòng)力。隨著鄉(xiāng)村商品經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展,鄉(xiāng)紳、約曼農(nóng)、普通農(nóng)夫、雇工各階層對(duì)教育的需求不斷增長(zhǎng)。富有的階層紛紛把子女送入學(xué)校,貧寒者也希望自己的子弟通過(guò)讀書改變其命運(yùn)。 人文主義運(yùn)動(dòng)中所倡導(dǎo)的“新學(xué)術(shù)”在鄉(xiāng)村文法學(xué)校的傳播,又使鄉(xiāng)村教育的發(fā)展或多或少地受到人文主義教育理念的影響。經(jīng)過(guò)幾代人艱辛的努力,到伊麗莎白時(shí)期,英國(guó)的鄉(xiāng)村教育蓬勃發(fā)展。鄉(xiāng)村教育的發(fā)展,促進(jìn)了鄉(xiāng)村社會(huì)上層內(nèi)聚力的形成,也使鄉(xiāng)村社會(huì)下層村民讀寫能力的提高與大眾文化的構(gòu)建結(jié)合在一起。鄉(xiāng)村教育的大發(fā)展也為鄉(xiāng)村社會(huì)培養(yǎng)了新型的勞動(dòng)者、管理者,從而為鄉(xiāng)村社會(huì)的發(fā)展注入了新的活力。
[Abstract]:The development of rural education in Tudor period opened up the modernization of rural education in England. This paper attempts to reveal the important influence of rural education on the modernization of British rural society from the aspects of the background, reasons and functions of the development of rural education in Tudor, so as to outline the overall situation of the development of rural education in England in the transitional period. The early Tudor farmers' own education and religious thought, as well as the rise of British public culture in the 15th century, the development of printing industry, the universal use of English, the establishment of secular grammar schools, and so on. It created a prerequisite for the development of rural education in Tudor period. The transformation of rural economy from natural economy to commodity economy in Tudor period stimulated the development of rural education and became the internal driving force of rural education development. With the development of rural commodity economy, the demand for education among squire, Yomanong, ordinary farmers and employees is growing. The rich have sent their children to school, and the poor want their children to change their fate by reading. The spread of "new academic" advocated in the humanism movement in rural grammar schools makes the development of rural education more or less influenced by the concept of humanism education. After generations of hard work, British rural education flourished during the Elizabeth period. The development of rural education not only promotes the formation of cohesion in the upper echelons of rural society, but also combines the improvement of reading and writing ability of villagers in rural society with the construction of mass culture. The great development of rural education has also trained new workers and managers for rural society, thus injecting new vitality into the development of rural society.
