羽毛時(shí)尚與鳥類保護(hù):美國(guó)進(jìn)步主義時(shí)期的女性與奧杜邦運(yùn)動(dòng)

【摘要】:19世紀(jì)80年代在美國(guó)興起的鳥類保護(hù)運(yùn)動(dòng)即奧杜邦運(yùn)動(dòng),是對(duì)羽毛時(shí)尚甚囂塵上、鳥類被大量捕殺的回應(yīng),女性在這場(chǎng)運(yùn)動(dòng)中發(fā)揮了重要作用。這場(chǎng)運(yùn)動(dòng)分為兩個(gè)階段,第一階段始于1880年代,由資源保護(hù)主義者喬治·伯德·格林內(nèi)爾發(fā)起,以其建立的奧杜邦協(xié)會(huì)為標(biāo)志,致力于鳥類保護(hù)的宣傳和推廣,喚起了女性抵制羽毛時(shí)尚、保護(hù)鳥類的熱情,推動(dòng)了美國(guó)進(jìn)步主義時(shí)期以女性為主體的第二階段的奧杜邦運(yùn)動(dòng)的興起;第二階段的規(guī)模和影響力更大,美國(guó)女性們?cè)谌珖?guó)范圍內(nèi)成立了奧杜邦協(xié)會(huì),形成了龐大的鳥類保護(hù)運(yùn)動(dòng)網(wǎng)絡(luò)。她們通過鳥類研究、學(xué)校教育、公眾教育、鳥類保護(hù)項(xiàng)目及游說立法者等方式實(shí)現(xiàn)了鳥類保護(hù)的社會(huì)化,并成功地推動(dòng)了鳥類保護(hù)立法的建立。奧杜邦運(yùn)動(dòng)也使美國(guó)女性增強(qiáng)了自身的話語權(quán)和政治影響力,為她們更廣泛的社會(huì)參與奠定了基礎(chǔ)。
[Abstract]:The bird protection movement in the United States in the 1880s, known as the Audubon Movement, is a response to the fashion of feathers and the mass killing of birds, in which women play an important role. The campaign is divided into two phases, the first of which began in the 1880s, initiated by the resource conservationist George Bird Greennell and marked by the Audubon Society, which it founded, dedicated to the promotion and promotion of bird protection. It aroused the enthusiasm of women to resist feather fashion and protect birds, and promoted the rise of the second stage of Audubon movement, which was dominated by women in the period of American progressionism. In the second phase, the scale and influence were greater, American women set up the Audubon Association nationwide and formed a huge network of bird protection movements. Through bird research, school education, public education, bird protection programs and lobbying legislators to achieve the socialization of bird protection, and successfully promote the establishment of bird protection legislation. The Audubon movement also strengthened American women's voice and political influence, laying the foundation for their wider social participation.
