【摘要】： 20世紀(jì)50-70年代日本經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展進(jìn)入高漲時(shí)期,私立大學(xué)的發(fā)展也呈現(xiàn)出異常繁榮的景象。無(wú)論是學(xué)校數(shù)量還是學(xué)生數(shù)量都得到了飛躍發(fā)展。這個(gè)大發(fā)展的背景就是政治上日本政府在法律和財(cái)政上的支持和援助,經(jīng)濟(jì)上產(chǎn)業(yè)界的投資和推動(dòng),文化上日本重視私學(xué)的傳統(tǒng)、近代形成的學(xué)歷社會(huì)以及戰(zhàn)后美國(guó)教育文化的大量涌入�？疾檫@一時(shí)期私立大學(xué)的繁榮除了表現(xiàn)在學(xué)校數(shù)量和招生人數(shù)的膨脹、研究生院的建立、學(xué)術(shù)研究的繁榮、“日本私立大學(xué)協(xié)會(huì)”為首的私學(xué)團(tuán)體的建立以外,日本私立大學(xué)內(nèi)部“三權(quán)分立”式管理機(jī)構(gòu)也進(jìn)一步得到完善,日本私立大學(xué)還紛紛提出了獨(dú)樹一幟的教育理念。在看到私立大學(xué)繁榮的同時(shí),我們還要看到私立大學(xué)繁榮的背后所面臨的問(wèn)題,如私立大學(xué)的財(cái)政經(jīng)費(fèi)一直處于尷尬狀態(tài),以及來(lái)自國(guó)立和公立大學(xué)的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)等,這些都為90年代私立大學(xué)的全國(guó)性危機(jī)埋下了伏筆。私立大學(xué)對(duì)日本高等教育的大眾化和普及化有著重要意義,對(duì)社會(huì)發(fā)展和經(jīng)濟(jì)騰飛做出了不可磨滅的貢獻(xiàn)。但是學(xué)校和學(xué)生數(shù)量的擴(kuò)張伴隨著教學(xué)質(zhì)量的下降,偏重文科的發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略使日本的高等教育結(jié)構(gòu)嚴(yán)重失衡,功利主義的教育方針政策也值得我們思考。日本私立大學(xué)發(fā)展的得與失對(duì)中國(guó)私立高等教育的發(fā)展有著非常重大的借鑒意義。

These are all the national crises of the private universities in the 1990s. However, the expansion of the number of schools and students is accompanied by a decline in the quality of teaching. The development strategy of liberal arts makes the structure of higher education in Japan seriously unbalanced, and the principles and policies of utilitarianism are also worth thinking.
