11至18世紀(jì)布里斯托爾貿(mào)易的興衰

【摘要】： 英國(guó)是世界歷史上一個(gè)比較具有典型性的國(guó)家,它的歷史為很多歷史學(xué)家所關(guān)注。作為在英國(guó)歷史上占有重要地位的港口城市,布里斯托爾城市經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展軌跡具有其特殊的一面。本文主要考察的是11-18世紀(jì)布里斯托爾城市經(jīng)濟(jì)的大體發(fā)展脈絡(luò),從中揭示一個(gè)在中世紀(jì)至近代早期極其活躍的經(jīng)濟(jì)城市是如何從起步階段、發(fā)展盛期、相對(duì)衰落、起伏發(fā)展直至今天很少再有人提及的邊緣城市的變化歷程,以及這種變化產(chǎn)生的原因。此外,通過對(duì)中世紀(jì)至近代早期英國(guó)西部一個(gè)港口城市這一視角的研究,我們也可以從中窺視到當(dāng)時(shí)英國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的總體發(fā)展對(duì)這個(gè)城市的影響,從而對(duì)英國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)整體及區(qū)域經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展做出更好的研究和探討。 全文共分為三個(gè)部分。 第一章簡(jiǎn)單介紹布里斯托爾城市的早期歷史和諾曼征服之后城市經(jīng)濟(jì)的總體發(fā)展?fàn)顩r,與愛爾蘭地區(qū)及其它國(guó)家的貿(mào)易往來情況。尤其是14、15世紀(jì),雖然經(jīng)歷了諸多變化,但是布里斯托爾城市貿(mào)易開始了初始繁榮階段。 第二章論述15、16世紀(jì)布里斯托爾作為英國(guó)國(guó)內(nèi)外貿(mào)易的中轉(zhuǎn)站,貿(mào)易路線和范圍廣泛,同時(shí)也發(fā)展起了自己的制造業(yè)。這個(gè)時(shí)期是布里斯托爾城市經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展史上的重要時(shí)期,同時(shí)這個(gè)城市的商人也發(fā)展起了海外冒險(xiǎn)事業(yè),這些都為后來17、18世紀(jì)的發(fā)展打下了良好的基礎(chǔ)。 第三章分析17世紀(jì)英國(guó)進(jìn)入大西洋貿(mào)易時(shí)期,布里斯托爾也積極參與到大西洋貿(mào)易中,并扮演了重要角色。其與南美洲和西印度的貿(mào)易狀況最為重要,雖然也遭遇了衰落,但衰落總是相對(duì)的,期間伴隨著起伏發(fā)展。
[Abstract]:Britain is a typical country in the history of the world, its history is concerned by many historians. As an important port city in British history, Bristol's urban economic development has its special side. This paper mainly examines the general development of Bristol's urban economy in the 11-18 century, which reveals how a very active economic city in the Middle Ages to the early modern times has declined from the initial stage, the development boom, and the relative decline. Ups and downs until today few people mention the development of marginal cities, and the reasons for this change. In addition, from the perspective of a port city in the west of England from the Middle Ages to the early modern times, we can also see the impact of the overall development of the British economy on this city at that time. Thus, the development of British economy as a whole and regional economy is better studied and discussed. The full text is divided into three parts. The first chapter briefly introduces the early history of Bristol city, the general development of urban economy after Norman Conquest, and the trade relations with Ireland and other countries. Especially in the 14 th century, the 15 th century, although experienced many changes, but Bristol city trade began the initial boom. In the second chapter, Bristol, as the transit station of British trade at home and abroad in 1516 th century, has developed its own manufacturing industry with a wide range of trade routes and scope. This period was an important period in the history of the economic development of the city of Bristol, and the merchants of the city also developed overseas adventures, which laid a good foundation for the development of the 1700s. In the third chapter, Bristol takes an active part in Atlantic trade and plays an important role. Its trade with South America and West India is the most important, although also suffered a decline, but decline is always relative, with ups and downs during the development.
