Of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Vietnam covers an area of about 329000 square kilometers. The population is about 87 million. Vietnam is a multi-ethnic country with 54 nationalities. Among them, the Jing nationality has the largest population, accounting for about 89% of the total population.
