[Abstract]:After being conquered by the Qing army in 1636, the Korean dynasty was forced to sever the suzerain-vassal relationship with the Ming Dynasty, and sent an army mainly artillery to take part in the Song Jin War between the Ming and Qing dynasties with the Qing Dynasty. The role of Korean soldiers in the war was not clearly documented in the Ming and Qing dynasties. North Korea's sources, though documented, differ from each other, and most historical sources believe they played a significant role and even accelerated the demise of the Ming Dynasty.
