從《秘史》看查士丁尼時(shí)代元老貴族地位

【摘要】: 作為一部嚴(yán)肅的歷史著作,普羅柯比的《秘史》通過對(duì)查士丁尼時(shí)代貴族社會(huì)生活地細(xì)致描述,反映了作者所在的拜占庭元老貴族階層的社會(huì)地位變遷的真實(shí)狀況。本文通過對(duì)普羅科比《秘史》文本解讀和歷史分析,從經(jīng)濟(jì)、政治和社會(huì)思想意識(shí)三個(gè)方面考察元老貴族的社會(huì)地位變遷。 文章共分為三部分。 第一部分主要考察元老貴族在查士丁尼時(shí)代的經(jīng)濟(jì)地位變化。4-6世紀(jì)隨著拜占庭國(guó)家土地私有化運(yùn)動(dòng)的開展和新興元老貴族勢(shì)力的興起,元老貴族積極發(fā)展地方經(jīng)濟(jì),從而占有大量地產(chǎn),經(jīng)濟(jì)實(shí)力不斷壯大,逐漸對(duì)中央產(chǎn)生威脅,最終導(dǎo)致了查士丁尼的鎮(zhèn)壓。這種經(jīng)濟(jì)地位變化趨勢(shì)在普羅科比的《秘史》里都有深刻地反映,這也與其大地產(chǎn)者的立場(chǎng)相吻合。 第二部分探討元老貴族在查士丁尼時(shí)代政治地位的變化。在此時(shí)期元老貴族的政治權(quán)力進(jìn)一步受到嚴(yán)格限制,其高貴的社會(huì)身份和尊嚴(yán)也倍受皇權(quán)的打擊,最終淪為皇權(quán)的陪襯。這種變化趨勢(shì)反映在《秘史》里表現(xiàn)為言辭激烈的對(duì)皇權(quán)地控訴。這也從側(cè)面反映了大地產(chǎn)者與皇帝的中央集權(quán)思想的矛盾斗爭(zhēng)。 第三部分主要介紹元老貴族在查士丁尼時(shí)代的文化意識(shí)形態(tài)的變化。此時(shí)期盡管元老貴族還保有古典信仰,但是基督教信仰已經(jīng)占據(jù)思想意識(shí)相態(tài)的主流地位。這種變化趨勢(shì)解釋了普羅科比《秘史》中既有古典的也有基督教信仰雙重信仰的根本原因。 總之,查士丁尼時(shí)代元老貴族的經(jīng)濟(jì)、政治特權(quán)進(jìn)一步喪失,古典信仰已被基督教信仰取代。而《秘史》就是拜占庭元老貴沉淪、君主專制的真實(shí)寫照。
[Abstract]:As a serious historical work, by describing the social life of the aristocrats in the Justinian era, Polokby's Secret History reflects the real situation of the social status changes of the Byzantine aristocracy. Based on the interpretation and historical analysis of Prokko's Secret History, this paper examines the social status changes of the old nobles from three aspects: economy, politics and social ideology. The article is divided into three parts. The first part mainly examines the changes of economic status of the old nobles in the Justinian era. With the development of the Byzantine state land privatization movement and the rise of the new patriarchal aristocrats, the elders actively developed the local economy. Possession of a large number of real estate, economic strength, gradually threat to the central, eventually led to the repression of Justinian. This shift in economic status is deeply reflected in Prokby's Secret History, which coincides with the position of the big real estate. The second part discusses the changes in the political status of the old nobility in the Justinian era. In this period, the political power of the nobility was further restricted, and its noble social status and dignity were also attacked by the imperial power, which finally became the foil of the imperial power. This trend is reflected in a vehement indictment of royalty in the History of Mysteries. This also reflects the contradiction between the monarch and the emperor. The third part mainly introduces the changes of cultural ideology of the elder aristocrats in the Justinian era. In this period, although the patriarchal aristocrats still retain classical beliefs, Christian beliefs have occupied the mainstream of ideology. This trend explains why Prokby's Secret History has both classical and Christian double beliefs. In short, the economic and political privileges of the patriarchal aristocracy of the Justinian era were further lost, and the classical faith was replaced by the Christian faith. The Secret History is the true portrayal of Byzantium's fall of the Yuan and the autocratic monarchy.
