【摘要】：近十年來(lái),歐美史學(xué)界有關(guān)全球史的理論、方法與實(shí)踐的研究有增多的趨勢(shì)。這些書(shū)籍的出版或許正可以反映當(dāng)前西方史學(xué)的"全球轉(zhuǎn)向(global turn)",而這種"全球轉(zhuǎn)向"的特色之一,即在于史學(xué)作品的"空間轉(zhuǎn)向(spatial turn)"——或者說(shuō)是史學(xué)跨越民族國(guó)家的領(lǐng)土疆界,朝著區(qū)域、大陸及半球等空間發(fā)展。目前歷史學(xué)的幾個(gè)次學(xué)科如環(huán)境史、社會(huì)史、性別史、經(jīng)濟(jì)史、醫(yī)療與科技史、物質(zhì)文化史、外交史都多少受到這波"全球轉(zhuǎn)向"風(fēng)潮的影響。其中,醫(yī)療史如何放在全球史的脈絡(luò)下來(lái)思考,值得我們進(jìn)一步探索。有關(guān)這方面,西方醫(yī)療史已經(jīng)有相當(dāng)?shù)某晒?像是Sarah Hodges的研究。反觀中國(guó)醫(yī)療史,目前僅見(jiàn)Vivienne Lo(羅維前)提出以全球視野來(lái)寫(xiě)作中國(guó)醫(yī)療史的訴求,她強(qiáng)調(diào)跨越社會(huì)、文化、地理邊界及時(shí)間的知識(shí)與實(shí)踐的傳播的重要性。本文即在此脈絡(luò)下,透過(guò)西方的全球醫(yī)療史研究的概況,來(lái)思考現(xiàn)有的中國(guó)醫(yī)療史研究成果及未來(lái)可能的發(fā)展。我們探討的重點(diǎn)有二種:藥物流通與疾病的全球史�？偟貋�(lái)看,這波醫(yī)療史的全球轉(zhuǎn)向,的確開(kāi)展了過(guò)往醫(yī)療史研究未曾關(guān)注的課題。其中,全球視野是這些文章或?qū)?shū)特別強(qiáng)調(diào)的研究取向。然而,全球醫(yī)療史不必然就否認(rèn)地方醫(yī)療史研究的重要性;反而更加強(qiáng)調(diào)全球與地方是如何相互地聯(lián)系、交流、挪用、塑造、影響及產(chǎn)出。
[Abstract]:In the past ten years, the research on the theory, method and practice of global history in Europe and America has been increasing. The publication of these books may be a reflection of the current "global shift to (global turn)" of Western historiography, which is one of the features of this "global shift". That is to say, the space turn to (spatial turn) of the historical works-or the historiography transcends the territorial boundaries of the nation-state, and develops towards the regional, continental and hemispheric space. At present, several sub-disciplines of history, such as environmental history, social history, gender history, economic history, medical and scientific history, material and cultural history, and diplomatic history are somewhat influenced by this "global turn" trend. Among them, how to put medical history in the context of global history is worth our further exploration. Western medical history, such as Sarah Hodges's research, has already produced considerable results in this regard. In contrast, at present, Vivienne Lo has proposed to write Chinese medical history from a global perspective. She emphasizes the importance of spreading knowledge and practice across social, cultural, geographical boundaries and time. In this context, this paper considers the current research achievements and possible future development of Chinese medical history through the survey of the global medical history research in the West. We focus on two types of drugs: the circulation of drugs and the global history of disease. In general, this global shift in medical history does lead to issues that have not been studied in the past. Among them, global view is the research orientation that these articles or special books emphasize especially. However, the global medical history does not necessarily deny the importance of the study of local medical history. On the contrary, it emphasizes more on how the global and local medical history are connected, communicated, misappropriated, molded, influenced and produced.
