【摘要】：死亡儀式因其承擔的文化功能而成為人類學家理解人類社會的視角之一。西方的死亡儀式在中世紀早期完成基督教化之后,主要圍繞如何救贖靈魂展開。按照阿諾德·范熱內(nèi)普的"過渡儀式"理論,中世紀英國的死亡儀式包括分離、閾限和聚合三個階段,即準備死亡(與上帝和解)、喪禮(祈禱和埋葬)和追思(七日追思、月追思和周年追思)。中世紀英國的死亡儀式反映出當時的大眾心態(tài)、社會等級結構,并具有使生者緩解焦慮情緒、團結共同體的功能。因此,作為社會的一面鏡子,中世紀英國死亡儀式具有很高的研究價值。
[Abstract]:The ritual of death has become one of the perspectives for anthropologists to understand human society because of its cultural function. Western rites of death, after Christianity in the early Middle Ages, revolved around how to redeem the soul. According to Arnold Van Genep's theory of "transition rituals", the ritual of death in medieval England consisted of three stages: separation, threshold and aggregation, namely preparation for death (reconciliation with God), funeral (prayer and burial), and remembrance (seven days). Think of the month and the anniversary. The ritual of death in medieval England reflected the mass mentality, social hierarchy, and had the function of relieving the anxiety of the living and uniting the community. Therefore, as a mirror of society, death rites in medieval England have high research value.
