【摘要】：有人說，控制世界的是美國，而控制美國的是猶太人。中國以及世界其他各地的公眾對美國猶太人一直有這樣一個(gè)誤解：美國猶太人似乎從來就影響著美國的政治，經(jīng)濟(jì)和媒體，而且總能影響美國國會在中東政策的制定上偏向以色列。因此難以想象美國猶太社團(tuán)在希特勒屠殺歐洲猶太人期間，沒有什么反應(yīng)。七十年代以后，當(dāng)有些歷史學(xué)家及學(xué)者反思這段歷史時(shí)，更多的是嚴(yán)厲批評美國國猶太人為了同化到美國白人基督教主流文化的大熔爐，，擺脫猶太身份，而對自己的同胞漠不關(guān)心。但本文認(rèn)為這段歷史的真相另有隱情，即二戰(zhàn)期間，美國猶太人并不像現(xiàn)在人們認(rèn)為的那么強(qiáng)大，他們當(dāng)時(shí)也和其他少數(shù)族裔一樣，受到歧視，壓迫，沒有話語權(quán)。當(dāng)時(shí)的社會環(huán)境使得美國猶太社團(tuán)身處困境，對內(nèi)各猶太社團(tuán)不能團(tuán)結(jié)一致，對外他們無法爭取到美國民眾及政府的支持去救援歐洲猶太人。因此，二戰(zhàn)期間美國猶太社團(tuán)面對納粹屠猶并不是冷漠無情，而是身陷困境，無能為力。 美國猶太社團(tuán)面對納粹屠猶的無能為力體現(xiàn)在以下三個(gè)方面，即各社團(tuán)內(nèi)部不團(tuán)結(jié)，無法獲得美國公眾的支持，以及無法獲得美國政府的幫助。二戰(zhàn)期間，美國人和猶太人的雙重身份束縛著美國猶太人的行動，同時(shí)美國猶太社團(tuán)內(nèi)部分歧較大，最終導(dǎo)致各社團(tuán)相互制約，無法團(tuán)結(jié)一致解救被屠殺的歐洲猶太人。另一個(gè)制約美國猶太社團(tuán)行動的因素是美國公眾。美國媒體對大屠殺缺少報(bào)道或誤報(bào)使得很多美國公眾對納粹的暴行無法知曉，另外美國公眾的反猶情緒使得他們對大屠殺持冷漠態(tài)度，因此美國猶太社團(tuán)無法動員大眾力量為營救歐洲猶太人給政府施壓。而美國政府的不作為是導(dǎo)致猶太社團(tuán)無法作為的最重要因素，其相關(guān)的移民政策阻礙著歐洲猶太人的自救，救援政策沒有得到有效的實(shí)施，同時(shí)美國政府的首要任務(wù)是取得戰(zhàn)爭的全面勝利，營救被屠殺的歐洲猶太人并不是其工作的重點(diǎn)。而當(dāng)時(shí)美國猶太社團(tuán)力量有限，對美國的政治毫無影響力，無法游說政府為解救歐洲同胞而改變其相關(guān)政策。因此美國猶太社團(tuán)面對納粹屠猶并不是毫無作為，而是無法有所作為，其行動受到各方面因素的制約，使其身陷困境，面對歐洲同胞的屠殺而無能為力。
[Abstract]:It is said that the United States controls the world, and the Jews control the United States. The public in China and the rest of the world have a persistent misconception of American Jews: American Jews always seem to influence the political, economic, and media sectors of the United States. And it can always influence the U.S. Congress to favor Israel in formulating policy in the Middle East. It is therefore inconceivable that the American Jewish community did not react to Hitler's massacre of European Jews. After the 1970s, when some historians and scholars reflected on this period of history, they more severely criticized the Jews in the United States for assimilating the melting pot of the mainstream American Christian culture and getting rid of their Jewish identity. And indifferent to his own countrymen. But this paper argues that the truth of this history is something else: during World War II, American Jews were not as powerful as they are now thought. They were discriminated against, oppressed, and had no right to speak, just like other minorities. The social environment at that time made the Jewish community in the United States in a difficult situation. They could not unite with the Jewish communities at home and abroad and could not win the support of the American people and the government to rescue the European Jews. As a result, the American Jewish community faced Nazi slaughter during World War II is not callous, but in a difficult situation, powerless. The inability of the American Jewish community to deal with the Nazi massacre is reflected in the following three aspects: the disunity within the communities, the inability to gain the support of the American public, and the inability to obtain the help of the United States government. During World War II, the dual identity of Americans and Jews bound the actions of American Jews. At the same time, the differences within the Jewish communities in the United States led to the mutual restriction of each other and the inability to unite to rescue the European Jews who had been slaughtered. Another constraint on the action of the American Jewish community is the American public. The lack of coverage or misinformation in the US media about the Holocaust has left many Americans unaware of the atrocities committed against the Nazis, and anti-Semitic sentiment among the American public has made them indifferent to the Holocaust. As a result, the American Jewish community was unable to mobilize mass efforts to pressure the government to rescue European Jews. The inaction of the United States government is the most important factor causing the Jewish community to do nothing. Its immigration policy hinders the self-help of the Jews in Europe, and the rescue policy is not effectively implemented. At the same time, the United States government's first priority is to win the war, the rescue of European Jews slaughtered is not the focus of its work. At the time, the Jewish community in the United States had limited power and had no influence on American politics and could not lobby the government to change its policies in order to save its fellow Europeans. Therefore, the American Jewish community did not do nothing to deal with the Nazi massacre, but could not do anything. Its action was restricted by various factors, which caused it to be in a difficult position, and was powerless in the face of the massacre of the European compatriots.
