【摘要】:一戰(zhàn)、二戰(zhàn)時期,美國婦女就業(yè)人數(shù)大大增加。就黑人婦女而言,歷史上,她們在美國就業(yè)結(jié)構(gòu)中就處于一種不利位置。一般而言,雇主們更愿意雇傭黑人(男性)與白人婦女。即使他們雇傭黑人婦女,通常會讓她們做那些費(fèi)力的,勞苦的工作。? 在這篇論文中,根據(jù)她們所處行業(yè)的不同,黑人婦女被分為幾個小群體,包括黑人婦女律師,黑人女護(hù)士,從事家政服務(wù)的黑人婦女,在汽車,鐵路工業(yè)的黑人女性以及黑人婦女大學(xué)生,其他行業(yè)的黑人婦女。這些黑人婦女,有的接受過教育,自身也有才華,有的擁有職業(yè)技能和經(jīng)驗(yàn),還有的接受過良好的培訓(xùn)。即使如此,她們面臨的處境也沒有得到改善:對于某些職位,她們?nèi)匀徊粫还蛡?她們?nèi)员徽J(rèn)為不如白人;并幾乎不會得到提升擔(dān)任監(jiān)督職位。因此,教育,技能,等等并不一定能夠改善黑人婦女的就業(yè)境況。?
[Abstract]:During World War I, the number of women employed in the United States increased significantly during World War II. As far as black women are concerned, historically they have been at a disadvantage in American employment structures. In general, employers prefer to hire black (male) and white women. Even if they hire black women, they usually get them to do the laborious, laborious work. In this paper, according to their profession, black women were divided into several small groups, including black women lawyers, black women nurses, black women in domestic service, in the car. Black women in railway industry, black women college students, black women in other professions. These black women, some educated, have their own talent, some have vocational skills and experience, and others have received good training. Even so, their situation has not improved: for some jobs, they are still not employed; they are still considered inferior to whites; and they are hardly promoted to supervisory positions. Therefore, education, skills, and so on do not necessarily improve the employment situation of black women.
