【摘要】： 本文重點考察麥克米倫時期的英美特殊關(guān)系。1956年,蘇伊士運河危機爆發(fā),被英國視為外交基礎(chǔ)的“特殊關(guān)系”出現(xiàn)裂縫并岌岌可危。但是,只要冷戰(zhàn)格局仍在,英國就不可能與美國分道揚鑣。1957年1月,麥克米倫接替艾登任首相后,考慮到英國當時的外交處境,開始修復(fù)英美特殊關(guān)系。經(jīng)過百慕大會談,兩國關(guān)系得到修復(fù)。麥克米倫執(zhí)政時期,仍然把英美特殊關(guān)系放在英國外交的首位。但鑒于蘇伊士運河危機給英國帶來的巨大打擊,以及后來英國外交政策的調(diào)整,在此影響下的英美特殊關(guān)系雖然得以維持,但與危機前相比,卻顯得不那么緊密了,兩國關(guān)系呈現(xiàn)出一種復(fù)雜性和不確定性。本文最后分析了英國在蘇伊士運河危機之后仍能與美國保持特殊關(guān)系的原因并對其作了簡要評價。
[Abstract]:In 1956, when the Suez Canal crisis broke out, the "special relationship", which was regarded as the basis of diplomacy by Britain, was cracked and perilous. But as long as the Cold War remains, Britain cannot part ways with the United States. After Macmillan succeeded Aiden as Prime Minister in January 1957, taking into account Britain's diplomatic situation at the time, it began to repair the special relationship between the United States and the United States. After the Bermuda talks, relations between the two countries were repaired. During Macmillan's administration, the special relationship between the United States and the United States was still at the top of British diplomacy. But given the impact of the Suez Canal crisis on Britain, and the subsequent adjustment of British foreign policy, the special relationship between Britain and the United States, although maintained under the influence of the crisis, is less compact than it was before the crisis. The relationship between the two countries presents a kind of complexity and uncertainty. In the end, the paper analyzes the reason why Britain can maintain special relationship with the United States after the Suez Canal crisis, and makes a brief evaluation of it.
