【摘要】：英國(guó)在北尼日利亞殖民地實(shí)施"間接統(tǒng)治",在語(yǔ)言方面的體現(xiàn)是將殖民地本土語(yǔ)言豪薩語(yǔ)塑造為統(tǒng)治用語(yǔ),作為"象征性權(quán)力"在殖民地運(yùn)行。經(jīng)英國(guó)改造的本土語(yǔ)言在身份認(rèn)同、階層分化、殖民地文化和社會(huì)秩序重建方面發(fā)揮獨(dú)特作用。英國(guó)"間接統(tǒng)治"在豪薩——富拉尼地區(qū)獲得成功的關(guān)鍵因素之一,是依靠豪薩語(yǔ)在殖民地的運(yùn)用。
[Abstract]:The expression of English indirect rule in the Northern Nigeria colony is to portray the native language Hausa as the ruling language and to operate as a symbolic power in the colony. The native language reformed by Britain plays a unique role in identity, stratification, colonial culture and social order. One of the key factors for the success of British indirect rule in the Hausa-Fulani region was the use of the Hausa language in the colonies.
