【摘要】：《密勒氏評論報》,美國人在中國創(chuàng)辦的資格最老的一份英文周報;著名記者埃德加.斯諾1928年來華后供職的第一家媒體;公開發(fā)表毛澤東身世、言論及照片的首家媒體;報道1927年大革命失敗后"紅色中國"內(nèi)幕的首家媒體;因"反日侵華"立場洋主編遭迫害的首家國外媒體;新中國成立后在上海繼續(xù)出版的英文報刊。該報自創(chuàng)刊至抗戰(zhàn)被停,歷經(jīng)二任主編,始終秉承"獨立客觀"的新聞專業(yè)理念,對推行美國對華政策、向西方介紹中國、記錄中國革命歷程以及促進中西文化交流發(fā)揮了重要作用,實現(xiàn)了美國的政治意圖與中國社會現(xiàn)實的相互協(xié)調(diào)。本文的興趣也正在探究自1917年創(chuàng)刊至1941年�？陂g,該報報道理念的來源和內(nèi)容,為了解外報眼中的中國以及探究該報的新聞史價值提供參考。
[Abstract]:Miller's Review, the oldest English weekly American ever founded in China; famous journalist Edgar. The first media to work in China since Snow came to China in 1928; the first to publicly publish Mao Zedong's story, remarks and photos; the first media to report on the inside story of "Red China" after the defeat of the 1927 Revolution; The first foreign media to be persecuted for its "anti-Japanese invasion of China" position; an English language newspaper continued to be published in Shanghai after the founding of the people's Republic of China. From its inception to the suspension of the War of Resistance against Japan, the newspaper, after two editors-in-chief, has always adhered to the "independent and objective" professional concept of journalism and introduced China to the West in the pursuit of the United States' China policy. Recording the course of Chinese revolution and promoting the cultural exchange between China and the West played an important role in realizing the coordination between American political intentions and Chinese social reality. During the period from the founding of 1917 to the suspension of publication in 1941, this article is also exploring the source and content of the newspaper's reporting idea, which provides a reference for understanding China in the eyes of the newspaper and for exploring the value of the newspaper's news history.
