[Abstract]:World War II was the worst global war in human history. Almost every nation and religion was the victim of the war and the hero emerged. Black soldiers made indelible contributions to their country during World War II, like many times in the history of the American War. Many black warriors, both men and women, gave their precious lives in World War II. To America, they are heroes. Of course, it is the responsibility of every citizen to fight for his own country, but it is beyond imagination for the black citizens of the United States to fulfill this responsibility. Since early American history, blacks have been discriminated against as "natural cowards". In the early part of World War II, they were refused to fight as soldiers, without the right to carry out guns, and had to do some manual work in the army. Curiously, even with so much discrimination and hostility from their own country and fellow countrymen, the blacks still yearned for the chance to enter the war. Once they were given the opportunity, they fought bravely and wrote heroic deeds that could be sung and cried. Many people think that the heroic battle of black soldiers is nothing more than an instinctive act of unthinking on the battlefield, but the author believes that there must be some impetus behind black heroism. The article first introduces the treatment of black soldiers in World War II and the circumstances in which they are fighting, and then, by analyzing the thinking of black soldiers, discusses that they are not the "brainless cannon fodder" considered by the United States government. Nor is it a daredevil who is unresponsive to his own discrimination. They are patriotic heroes. But unlike white heroes, black heroism not only aspires to personal glory, but also to social recognition. Through the writing of this paper, the author expounds his views, exposes the roots of black heroism, and describes how a race can strive to improve itself in adversity and eventually be recognized by society to a certain extent.
