【摘要】： 大約從公元前2000年開始,歷史上開始存在海盜行為。古羅馬時期,海盜活動一直伴隨著其歷史的發(fā)展,至羅馬共和國時期,海盜尤為猖獗。本文主要探討了羅馬共和國時期海盜發(fā)展的情況及羅馬與海盜之間的長期斗爭,并分析了在這一時期,作為他者的“海盜”與羅馬政治的一些微妙關(guān)系。 羅馬共和國前,海盜行為經(jīng)歷了從最初只是地中海賦予人們的一種謀生方式到后來的威脅人們生活,威脅正常的商業(yè)貿(mào)易的轉(zhuǎn)變;海盜形象亦經(jīng)歷了從最初的人們尊敬的英雄到后來的海上惡徒的轉(zhuǎn)變,直至羅馬共和國時期,海盜被稱為“人類公敵”,完全轉(zhuǎn)為負面形象。 共和國早期和中期,海盜聚集的地方更加集中,此時比較有名的海盜是第勒尼安海盜,伊利里亞海盜,利古里亞海盜以及克里特海盜。而且,這一時期的海盜行為也更加復(fù)雜。海盜劫掠往往與戰(zhàn)爭,外國雇傭軍和奴隸貿(mào)易等有密切關(guān)系。與此同時,羅馬及其同盟也對海盜進行了一定程度的打擊。 共和國末期是古羅馬歷史上海盜最為猖獗的時期。海盜對羅馬的政治,經(jīng)濟造成嚴重的威脅。而究其原因,海盜猖獗一方面是其自身長期發(fā)展壯大的結(jié)果:另一方面,也是主要原因,則是羅馬的內(nèi)部問題讓海盜有機可趁。當(dāng)海盜真正威脅到羅馬自身安全的時候,對其進行鎮(zhèn)壓成為必然。 不可忽視的是,在羅馬充當(dāng)“地中海保護者”打擊海盜的同時,他也在利用“海盜”這一有效的語言工具來抹黑他的對手以此來樹立自身正義、文明的形象,為其對外擴張服務(wù);而在共和國末期混亂的內(nèi)部政治環(huán)境中,利用“海盜”打擊政敵也是一種有效的手段。
[Abstract]:Starting around 2000 BC, there is piracy began in history. In ancient Rome, piracy has been accompanied by the development of history, to the Rome Republic, piracy is particularly rampant. This paper mainly discusses the development situation of the long struggle between the Pirates of Rome Republic and Rome with the pirates, and analyzes on the A period, as the other "Pirates" and the politics of Rome some subtle relationships.
The Republic of Rome, piracy has experienced from the initial to the Mediterranean just a way of making a living people to later threaten people's life, change the threat of normal commercial trade; the pirates image also experienced a shift from the first people respected hero to the later villains of the sea, until the period of the Republic of Rome, the pirates known "the common enemy of mankind", to complete the negative image.
The early and middle Republic, where piracy is more concentrated, the more famous is the Tyrrhenian pirates pirates, Illyria pirates, Pirates of Liguria and Crete pirates. Moreover, piracy in this period are more complex. Pirates often associated with war, there is a close relationship between foreign mercenaries and the slave trade. At the same time, Rome and its allies have a certain degree of blow to the pirates.
The end of the Republic is the ancient history of Rome pirates are most rampant. The pirates on Rome's political, economic and pose a serious threat. The reason for the rampant piracy hand is its own long-term development results. On the other hand, is also the main reason, it is in Rome that the Pirates of while the pirates. Can not be ignored is that acts as a "Mediterranean protector" to combat piracy in Rome at the same time, he also used the "Pirates" which is an effective tool to discredit his opponent in order to establish their own justice, civilized image, the expansion of foreign service; and in the Republic of China at the end of the internal political environment in chaos, the use of "it is an effective means of pirates" against political opponents.
