　　The Trump administration sees Central and Eastern Europe as a new regional strategic foothold in great-power competition and an extension of US grand strategic adjustment. With complex strategic considerations, the US return to the region will weaken the EU’s strategic autonomy and undermine the transatlantic ties, and also add uncertainty to China-CEEC cooperation.
