【摘要】：正這是二十幾年前寫的一本書稿,正式由英國劍橋大學出版也是十年前的事。二十多年前,我到美國普林斯頓大學做余英時先生的研究生。我在申請學校時的研究計劃一個是戰(zhàn)國到秦的思想轉折,一個是明末的思想。余先生當時甫自耶魯轉來,見面之后便說他認為我應該用傅斯年為題寫博士論文,原因之一是如此重要的人物,西文及中文皆從未有
[Abstract]:It was written more than 20 years ago and officially published by Cambridge University ten years ago. More than 20 years ago, I went to Princeton University to work as a graduate student of Mr. Yu Ying-shi. When I applied for the school, my research plan was a thought transition from warring States to Qin, and a thought from late Ming Dynasty. Mr. Yu, who had been transferred from Yale at the time, said after meeting him that he thought I should write my doctoral thesis with Fu Sinian as the title. One of the reasons for this was that such an important person had never been found either in the Western language or in Chinese.
