【摘要】：古希臘文aletheia(α’λη'θεια)一詞的詞義為真實(shí)。在希羅多德的著作中,aletheia意為史事經(jīng)過(guò)史家真假判斷而達(dá)到的真實(shí)。另一方面,希羅多德受到城邦口授傳統(tǒng)的影響,往往讓聽(tīng)眾來(lái)判斷史事的真假。修昔底德著作中的aletheia,已經(jīng)擺脫了城邦口授傳統(tǒng)的影響,表述了史家對(duì)真假判斷的自主性。修昔底德還意識(shí)到,在某種情況下(如演說(shuō)詞的建構(gòu)),史家難以再現(xiàn)歷史的真實(shí)。波利比烏斯則進(jìn)一步意識(shí)到,歷史研究可能并存著歷史的客觀性與史家的主觀性。他認(rèn)為只有普世的歷史(即重視世界各地聯(lián)系與整體性的歷史),才能揭示人類(lèi)歷史的真相。以上三位史家所用的aletheia一詞及其思想,反映了古希臘史學(xué)求真思想的發(fā)展及其特點(diǎn)。
[Abstract]:The ancient Greek word aletheia (偽'位 畏'胃 蔚 l 偽) has the meaning of truth. In Herodotus's works, the meaning of aletheia is the truth achieved by historians' judgment of truth and falsehood. On the other hand, Herodotus is influenced by the dictation tradition of the city-states. It is often up to the audience to judge the truth and falsehood of history. Aletheia, in Thucydides' works, has cast off the influence of the polis dictation tradition and expressed the historian's autonomy over the judgment of truth and falsehood. Thucydides also realized, In some cases (such as the construction of speeches, historians find it difficult to reproduce the truth of history. Pollybius is further aware that, The historical research may coexist the objectivity of history and the subjectivity of historians. He believes that only the universal history (that is, the history of attaching importance to the connection and integrity of all parts of the world) can reveal the truth of human history. The word "aletheia" and its ideas, It reflects the development and characteristics of the thought of seeking truth in ancient Greek historiography.
