本文是一篇翻譯報(bào)告,翻譯原文為《蘇格蘭社會(huì)保障法》(2018)的第一編以及第二編的第一章至第六章。在翻譯原文本的過程中,譯者發(fā)現(xiàn)所選文本中存在大量定語(yǔ)從句,且句式復(fù)雜,這不僅增加了翻譯難度,還在一定程度上直接影響譯文的質(zhì)量。鑒于此,本翻譯報(bào)告討論了該法律文本中定語(yǔ)從句的翻譯技巧。首先,譯者對(duì)定語(yǔ)從句的相關(guān)基本概念、定語(yǔ)從句的翻譯以及法律英語(yǔ)中的定語(yǔ)從句的研究進(jìn)行了簡(jiǎn)要的文獻(xiàn)綜述;其次通過仔細(xì)分析原文本中定語(yǔ)從句的例子,總結(jié)出該法律文本中四種切實(shí)可行的翻譯技巧:前置法、分譯法、合譯法、轉(zhuǎn)換法;最后,譯者總結(jié)了翻譯實(shí)踐中的經(jīng)驗(yàn)以及尚待解決的問題。希望本翻譯報(bào)告為法律文本中英語(yǔ)定語(yǔ)從句的漢譯以及我國(guó)的社會(huì)保障事業(yè)的發(fā)展提供參考與借鑒。
