長沙城鄉(xiāng)初中生英語影子教育的對比研究

課外補習,被人們形象的稱為“影子教育”,是主流學校教育的一種補充形式,不斷模仿主流學校,主要是以提高學生的學業(yè)成績?yōu)榻虒W目標。隨著全民教育消費水平的提高,學生、家長、學校及社會對學生的課外補習有了更高的要求,因此,影子教育在城鄉(xiāng)地區(qū)皆有極大的發(fā)展。在所有的科目中,英語是學生必學的一門課程。對初中生來說,英語更是作為考試的必選重點科目,其得分的高低直接影響班級、年級排名。同時,英語學科作為語言類科目,有其特殊性,絕大部分家庭教育都缺失了英語輔導(dǎo)。英語作為應(yīng)試教育的產(chǎn)物,家長的英語水平普遍不高,即使是大學學歷的家長也不足以輔導(dǎo)低層次的英語學習,家長只能試圖尋求影子教育的幫助。另外,由于家長無法提供英語輔導(dǎo)和幫助,部分家長為減輕自身負擔、填補學生空白時間,轉(zhuǎn)而投向影子教育機構(gòu)。因此,英語在影子教育中占有較大的比重。本研究主要以長沙地區(qū)為例,采用SPSS定量分析的統(tǒng)計方法,選取其市區(qū)公立中學和鄉(xiāng)村公立中學的初二年級的學生為調(diào)查對象。通過向這兩所學校的初二學生分別發(fā)放調(diào)查問卷,各發(fā)放6個班的學生,其中城市學生有287位,農(nóng)村學生有270位,以及還通過實地與學生家長訪談的方式搜集數(shù)據(jù),旨在比較城鄉(xiāng)...
