[Abstract]:The editor's note: on November 9th 2014, Mr. Cheng Hang-sheng died because of his illness and passed away. His voice and smile were still before his eyes. Mr. Zheng Hangsheng has served as director of the Institute of Sociology, Renmin University of China, chairman of the Department of Sociology, Vice President of Renmin University of China, president and honorary president of the China Society of Society, and other important academic positions. He was a first-degree professor at Renmin University of China and director of the Center for Sociological Theory and Methodology, Member of the Central Marxist theoretical Research and Construction Engineering Advisory Committee and Chief expert of Sociology Section. Mr. Zheng Hangsheng has long been committed to promoting the Sinicization of Sociology, advocating theoretical consciousness, and actively organizing social investigations.
