[Abstract]:Shuangta Temple, which was demolished in the 1950s for rebuilding West Chang'an Street, is as famous as the Baita Temple in the West City. Legend has it that in the Beijing Opera "Sijin Shi", four people, Mao Peng, Gu Yi, Liu Quan and Tian Lun, were allied in the Shuangta Temple, which is the twin pagoda temple in the Ming Dynasty. At that time, famous Beijing opera actors Tan Xinpei, Ma Lianliang and others were good at performing "Sijin Shi", thus making the old Beijingers very familiar with this.
