【摘要】：正亞洲最大的城市廣場位于大連南部海濱風(fēng)景區(qū)的星海廣場,原是星海灣的一個(gè)廢棄鹽場。星海灣改造工程啟幕于1993年7月16日,市政府利用建筑垃圾填海造地114公頃,開發(fā)土地62公頃,形成了總占地面積176萬平方米的亞洲最大城市公用廣場,工程竣工于1997年6月30日。廣場中央設(shè)有全國最大的漢白玉華表,高19.97米,直徑1.997米,以此紀(jì)念香港回歸祖國,華表底座和柱身共飾有9條巨龍,寓意九州華夏兒女都是龍的傳人。
[Abstract]:The largest city square in Asia is located in Xinghai Square, an abandoned salt farm in Xinghai Bay, a seaside scenic spot south of Dalian. On July 16, 1993, the construction waste was used to reclaim 114 hectares of land and develop 62 hectares of land, forming the public square of Asia's largest city, covering a total area of 1.76 million square meters. The project was completed on June 30, 1997. The center of the square has the largest white jade watch in the country, 19.97 meters high and 1.997 meters in diameter, in honor of Hong Kong's return to the motherland. There are 9 giant dragons on the base of the tables and columns, implying that the sons and daughters of Kyushu are descendants of the dragon.
