【摘要】：正蘇州市郊太湖岸邊,有一座距今兩千多年的古鎮(zhèn)木瀆,它不但歷史悠久、物華天寶,且風(fēng)光秀麗、人杰地靈,天然之美與人文勝跡水乳交融,處處散發(fā)著濃郁的吳越文化氣息。關(guān)于小鎮(zhèn)名字的由來,還有一段民間故事。據(jù)說,春秋時吳王夫差為博取美貌如花的佳人西施歡心,在小鎮(zhèn)邊的靈巖山上大興土木為其修建宮殿,采自各地的珍貴木材從水路不斷運來,由于數(shù)量龐大,竟堵塞了河流港瀆,一時間"木塞于瀆",小鎮(zhèn)因此得名。史書記
