【摘要】：人口普查是羅馬帝國(guó)實(shí)行的基本政策之一,在帝國(guó)初期得以系統(tǒng)化和制度化。公元前30年,埃及被羅馬征服并設(shè)為行省,隨后,人口普查便與其他統(tǒng)治政策一樣被引入埃及。埃及的人口普查既不同于托勒密王朝時(shí)期的人口普查,又不同于羅馬共和國(guó)、帝國(guó)時(shí)期的人口普查,具有自身的特點(diǎn)。它為羅馬統(tǒng)治者了解埃及的人口與財(cái)富、征收賦稅和征發(fā)徭役等提供了依據(jù),對(duì)羅馬在埃及的統(tǒng)治起到了重要作用。
[Abstract]:Census was one of the basic policies of the Roman Empire, which was systematized and institutionalized in the early days of the Empire. Egypt was conquered and made a province by Rome in 30 BC, and then the census was introduced into Egypt, along with other governing policies. The census of Egypt is different from the census of Ptolemaic dynasty and the Roman Republic, and the census of the imperial period has its own characteristics. It provides the basis for the Roman rulers to know the population and wealth of Egypt, taxes and corvee, and plays an important role in the rule of Rome in Egypt.
