【摘要】：2016年6月的英國脫歐公投,作為民主政治晚近的一個大型實踐,給了我們一次難得的近距離反思民主政治的機會。分析英國脫歐公投,我們可以看到現(xiàn)代民主面臨的雙重結構性困局:民主結構性地產(chǎn)生政治冷漠與民主結構性地制造社會隔裂。前者導致了實質(zhì)意義上的"民主赤字",而后者則使整個人民統(tǒng)治自身(民主之本義)成為一個"幻想"。2016年美國總統(tǒng)大選,進一步印證了這一論點。
[Abstract]:The June 2016 referendum on Brexit, a major recent practice of democracy, gave us a rare opportunity to rethink democracy from close quarters. By analyzing the Brexit referendum, we can see the dual structural dilemma faced by modern democracy: democracy structurally produces political apathy and democracy structurally creates social cleavage. The former has led to a substantial "democratic deficit", while the latter has made it a "fantasy" for the entire people to rule themselves (the essence of democracy). The 2016 US presidential election further corroborates this argument.
